After looking all over the internet for Piper's recipe that was published In Bon Appetit in 1992 and not being able to find it, I managed to find this recipe which looks very similar, from the Latter Day Saints AOL message board. Posting here for safekeeping.

    Recipe #335232

My mum-in-law sent this to me. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like something I can throw together some night when I come home from work and want something fast.

Posting this so I don't lose it again. Torta di pera con salsa di grappa. Took me forever to find it! A fantastic recipe for Italian pear cake, uses canned pears which all the best Italian pear cake recipes do.

    Recipe #333627

From a low carb bulletin board. I'm personally not on a low carb diet, and I haven't actually tried it yet, but I love all of these ingredients and this sounds fantastic!

This is from "Just Cook This" on Discovery Channel. A great, easy marinade/sauce that comes together in a few minutes, and really gives chicken a spicy, limey and coconutty flavor you always look for in Thai food. Seve with white rice and top with chopped peanuts and cilantro.

I found this ages ago on the food network site. It is definitely the best crabcake recipe out there (and I have tried many!) Serve with a spicy mayo made of 1 cup mayo, 3 T chili sauce and 1 T lemon juice.

Found this recipe on a Sacramento paper's website and it is delish! Differs from the other recipe posted on this site. I've never been to Mimi's Cafe but if this bread is any indication it must be a special place. This is sweet, moist and dense without being too dense - perfect carrot bread in my opinion!

    Recipe #309085

Given to me by a coworker several years ago, it is the tastiest, easiest, cheesiest artichoke dip recipe on the planet. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
