A pizookie is basically a giant cookie served slightly undercooked a la mode. One pizookie feeds more or less 4 people. You can also serve this dough as traditional cookies, but either way, they're chewy, buttery, and sweet. Yum!
Light and airy and vanilla-y and most of the ingredients are already in your kitchen! Easy to make and variate: add frosting, sprinkles, candy, baker's chocolate! :] From The Book of Birthdays given to me.. for my birthday. - -;
The ingredients are probably what you already have in your pantry. These lemon bars are pretty healthy - minimal on the flour and butter (except for the crust). It has a sweet cookie-like crust and the lemon on top seperates into two sweet, chewy layers. :] The top is kind of chewy and the bottom is like a sweet cookie so it reminds me of an ersatz cheesecake ;D
These are easy to make! and healthy for you too (small amount of butter & sugar), but still so very sweet and wholesome. The cookies are chewy and go great with any other add-ins (raisins, cranberries, chocolate chips, etc.) Courtesy of FoodNetwork.com
Mamon is my FAVORITE Filipino dessert (or one of them ^^*). The thing that differentiates mamon from American sponge cake is because its a little more sweeter and buttery. Mamon is a very soft and creamy cake. :]
Simple recipe. You only need a microwave. Very versatile with dough and fillings. Not too sweet either. Here's a small batch which can be multiplied, but if you make more, experiment with the microwave times.
All you need are udon noodles and broth. This soup is my all-time favorite because it's healthy, filling, warm, and able to be personalized. See my other recipes for dashi stock. OR dissolve instant dashi stock. OR just use chicken stock.
This classic, double-layer cake has all the ingredients for a great party dessert. You can add 3 ounces unsweetened baker's chocolate and make it yummy and chocolate-y. Most of these ingredients are in your pantry too! Frosting recipe in the steps or you can use your own.
