An incredibly tasty half fried, half baked skinless chicken that is good hot or cold. Low fat, the gravy is very tasty!
From the August 2009 Costco Connection and directions copy/paste for ease from http://www.keyingredient.com/recipes/205812/oven-pork-roast-with-applesauce-baby-potatoes-gravy-and-asparagus/
(I double-checked the directions & corrected)
This one does require work the night before, but it isn't difficult, and it is a piece of cake the next day - just stick it in the oven.
The 4-6 servings assumes 1/3 of the roast is left over.
This is a remake of a 4 point recipe. Added ingredients make it a 6 point. See the original at Recipe #130891. You can use Bibb, Bosten, or iceberg lettuce. If you cant find a serrano chile you can use a jalapeno
This is a remake of 4 point recipe #322468. The Dollar General within walking distance of me does not carry non-fat sour cream or the 98% fat free soup. Plus its a larger can. I est that my version comes in at 5 or 6 points, plus noodles.
The other recipe did not have noodles listed but I will so we can get the correct points.
Great little recipe that I made in High School. My wifes family wasn't sure if they would like it. They were right. They loved it. My kids cant get enough of it. It has everything in one bowl. I will admit, it may not be the healthiest, but it sure is good.
