Really soft, fluffy bread that stays soft for days. This bread is amazing! Recipe is adapted from Yvonne Chen's "The 65 degree Bread Doctor". This recipe is best made in a mixer or bread machine because the dough is quite soft and sticky.

    Recipe #493704

This is a soft, fluffy flatbread similar to Taco Bell's gorditas or Quizno's Sammies. The recipe comes from King Arthur Flour.

    Recipe #421046

I love eating this bread for breakfast. It is actually pretty healthy, too. Chopped walnuts or pecans can be added, if you wish. This recipe is one of my original creations.

    Recipe #366251

I was asked for a sourdough version of hot cross buns. This is the recipe I came up with, inspired by a non-sourdugh recipe in Jeffrey Hamelman's "Bread".

    Recipe #294232

This recipe is from The Pampered Chef. It is elegant yet simple to make, and oh-so-yummy!

    Recipe #144188

Fantastic sourdough buns for sandwiches! I posted this recipe in the forums and Akillian made them and posted her picture. Don't they look awesome?

    Recipe #135870

What a great way to use up some of that extra sourdough starter and that little dab of canned pumpkin that's always left when your recipe calls for 1 cup. I created this recipe and I think it turned out really good. My dog, Clyde, thinks so too!

    Recipe #134498

Experiment with different beers in this bread.

    Recipe #133177

This is how I am currently making my white sourdough bread. I am constantly learning new techniques in order to perfect my bread so next year I may have a whole new approach. You can use up to 50% whole wheat flour, if you prefer.

    Recipe #131535

You can make your own wild yeast starter from scratch. The yeast is already on the grains you use in the starter. You just need to create the right conditions to wake them up! The pineapple juice may sound like a strange ingredient, but it is what makes this recipe work so well. The juice creates an acidic environment that prevents bad bacteria from taking over and causing spoilage during the fermentation period.

    Recipe #116648

This festive jam is being posted for a request. I found it recently in a community type cookbook and I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

    Recipe #105718

Decadent little morsels of fruit-filled pastry, these cookies are a bit tedious but worth it.

    Recipe #78827

This is the best buttercream icing I have ever tasted. I used it for my daughter's wedding cake. I made a double batch, which was enough to ice, border, and pipe small decorations on the sides of the cake for a 14" x 10" x 6" tiered cake. I think the whipping cream is the secret to making this icing special.

    Recipe #69633

I made my daughter's wedding cake using this recipe. It turned out fantastic. The texture is just perfect for a wedding cake -- not too fluffy so it breaks from the weight, but also not overly dense. The flavor, texture and moistness were just right. I made two batches of the batter for a three-tiered wedding cake using 14", 10" and 6" pans that were 3-inches deep. I had enough extra batter for a 9" layer (not a deep pan). This recipe was originally created by Rebecca Sutterby.

    Recipe #69630

This is posted for a request. I have not tried it yet myself, but I have heard it is very good.

    Recipe #58074

Our favorite family dip, which we have been making for years. It's the best! It can be made in minutes for impromptu guests.

    Recipe #57665

Fragrant with herbs and onion, this moist bread will become one of your favorites. I made half of my batch into bread sticks and they were wonderful. I rolled out the dough to about 1/4" thick, brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with finely shredded cheese and garlic powder. Let rise until light and bake at 400 degrees F until golden.

    Recipe #56917

Something different to do with sausage. Makes a very tasty sausage patty with very little effort and simple ingredients. This recipe is from my mother. She made them when I was growing up and I have no idea where the recipe came from.

    Recipe #52372

Posted for a request, I have not made this candy myself.

    Recipe #48591

Very showy cookies will be a welcome addition to your holiday cookie trays. Kids love to help pat this cookie dough into the pan. From Land O Lakes.
