I attended a cooking class and the chef prepared this at home since it was a crock pot recipe but showed us how to prepare the meal during our class. It is a meal I prepare often. When our son and his wife come for dinner she always requests chicken stew. I serve it with polenta. The gravy is awesome!!
Out if this world veggie dish and low in fat if you are watching your calories. Made this for a bereavement reception for a church family. They loved it and requested the recipe. Very colorful dish and easy for a pot luck.
Both kids and adults will dive into this new twist on baked ziti. If you like, assemble it up to one day ahead, refrigerate and bake just before serving. If you make it the day before you will have to adjust the baking time. I have taken this to our church potluck dinners. The recipe is always requested. Enjoy!
While visiting a friend in Ruskin, Fl a friend of hers shared this recipe with us....it serves 10 to 12 but I will also include the individual serving. They are dee-licious. My husband made them this past Christmas. They are addictive..go down real easy. Just like drinking chocolate. Rather expensive to make but well worth it.
This pie was posted in Midwest Living magazine many years ago and was served to President Truman at one time. The rich creamy filling topped with crunchy pecans makes this pie no one can refuse. Try it. You'll like it!
This recipe was in the Southern Lady magazine Jan/Feb 2006. I used red peppers but you can use either color. I made a few adjustments which I thought made it much easier to prepare. My husband loved it and so did I. Presentation is important, but taste is what matters the most. Try it...you'll like it!!
This is another recipe prepared at one of my cooking classes. It is easy and dee-licious. You may also use assorted wild mushrooms rather than the white ones. Serve in teacups and use as an appetizer. Try it. You'll like it.
