Simple, light summer salad that goes great with grilled chicken or pork. Super easy with few ingredients. Cook time is chill time.

    Recipe #461479

These little baskets make a neat presentation for salads, according to the magazine I got the recipe from (Cuisine at Home), but I think you could put other things in there too. I hope some of you post your ideas for these!

    Recipe #387839

A good crockpot recipe that doesn't take all day. DH loves these.

    Recipe #235010

I'm not sure if this authentic "Cuban", but Betty Crocker says it is, and who's gonna argue with her?

    Recipe #235008

Another simple soup recipe. When the first cold front comes through, this is what my kids want for supper. Of course, here in Southern Texas, the "cold front" is anything below 75 degrees and doesn't happen until mid-late October!

    Recipe #193906

This is an easy soup, perfect for weeknights when you don't have a lot of time. It like it because it uses items I normally keep on hand and tastes great. This recipe can be easily doubled (I have even quadrupled it) for a larger crowd.

    Recipe #193903

Another easy appy. Kids love 'em too!

    Recipe #193750

A simple and delicious appy. I made these last Christmas Eve when I had a house full of people and everyone loved them. You might want to double for a large crowd. I found this in a cookbook at Mother's, but I can't remember which one. :(

    Recipe #193744

Courtesy of Central Market in Houston. They had just freshly made it in the store. I haven't made this yet, but with the holidays coming up (Yikes!), this sounded like something nice to serve at a gathering.
