Enjoy this Indian recipe for rajma (red kidney beans) with jeera (cumin) rice. You can spice this up according to your taste! If you have an Indian grocery store in your area, you could add a great taste to it by adding one spoon of 'garam masala' which is a special blend of mixed spices...But it's just as great without it!
A nice refreshing soupy dal that you pour over rice or eat with chapattis. I eat this at least 3-5 days a week. Their are so many different variations on the way you can spice it that it is almost like eating a different meal each time it is spiced differently.
I have yet to cook this dish yet as I have not been able to translate all the spices.
My friends mom cooked this for dinner one evening when I was in Delhi this past May. I helped her stuff the bhindi with the paste. This is the best Indian dish I have ever eaten!!! She should open a chain of restaraunts in the US. ;)
