I was always scared of cooking fresh fish until I found this recipe. I use it for trout, whitefish - any delicate fish, not the heavier, oily ones. Guests love it and it looks great on a plate all crispy and brown. Try it!

    Recipe #462527

A warm spicy fall treat for tea or dessert.

    Recipe #394380

A refreshing soup that tastes like summer... cool, clean and fresh.

    Recipe #320294

I once was at a restaurant in Toronto that served Southern Fried Tofu - crispy tofu slices with a tangy sauce on top and I have been on the hunt for a recipe to make it myself. I also wanted to create something that was baked, not fried - reducing fat content for a healthier meal. This recipe is as close as I could get and is really yummy. It's a fave for my family - kids love it too.

    Recipe #317730

I thought my peanut butter cookies were the best until I tried my friend Michelle's. This is her recipe and it rocks. Warning - the are completely addictive.

    Recipe #283751

I've searched high and low for the ultimate oatmeal cookie recipe and finally, I've found the one that does it for me. These are chock full of goodies, have great flavour, are substantial without being a paperweight, moist and chewy on the inside, a bit firm on the edges. Cookie heaven.

    Recipe #283729

This was an experiment of combining 3 recipes and boy, did it work! Don't let the number of steps deter you, the taste is worth it. A wonderful fall or winter roast.

    Recipe #260320

A rich and creamy favourite comfort food in our house...

    Recipe #257684

These are definitely a sweet treat muffin - and pretty low fat too. Great taste and who can resist the combo of banana, chocolate and ginger???

    Recipe #257660

Most pumpkin pies I taste are too dense for me. This has lots of flavour but the texture is light. A favourite in our family and a much requested recipe from friends.

    Recipe #257658

A moist dense loaf that is simply the best banana bread I've ever tried. A tradition in our family...

    Recipe #257648

A simple but very fresh tasting, flavourful soup, delicious served hot or cold.

    Recipe #255904

My mother in law is on a low sodium, high fibre diet and so I wanted to create a great muffin for her to snack on. After a few tries, this one hit the mark - they don't last long in our house!

    Recipe #222446

No oil but really moist and tasty. A great basic high-fibre bran muffin, not too sweet, not too dense.

    Recipe #152671

A great veggie side dish - easy and great flavour.

    Recipe #148222

    Designed to convert non-brussels sprout-ians!

    Recipe #148212

A lighter take on Idgie and Ruth's favorite dish...

    Recipe #147656

An upscale version of an old favourite - with white wine, coffee and cocoa adding a more complex flavour. I like mine with lots of taste but not much heat... add more cayenne or chili powder to taste.

    Recipe #147655

A great (and impressive!) vegetarian dish for entertaining or to take to potluck dinners. Serve with a salad and it's dinner. Adapted from a recipe from Pilates Style magazine. Walnuts add crunch and lentils add protein and using vegetable oil spray instead of lots of olive oil cuts down on calories without sacrificing taste.
