British Tradition! Yummy year round, good prezzies at x-mas, and brilliant in stockings.

    Recipe #335787

Oh, we all have one...the recipe that everyone asks for? My family loves this, not sure where it came from. Don't skimp on the good stuff, just cut yourself a smaller piece and there's more to share! I doubt you'll want to give it away though!

    Recipe #297427

Yet another comfort food recipe! Freezes really well. Left over veg use up!

    Recipe #289317

This is a kid favorite, and every time I serve it I have happy people. It is a curry, but not TOO curry, you can make it spicier with an chopped chili pepper. Original Katsu chicken is made with fried chicken, and I have included the instructions for that one on another recipe.

    Recipe #263113

Works best in the UK, sorry about that. Got it from a friend in response to a pitiful plea for decent nacho cheese...kind of like the kind you get in the 7-11...

It was cold one night, and I didn't feel so great...so here it is...pure comfort food. Enjoy, leave out the brandy if you want...just on bad days it's nice knowing it's there :)

    Recipe #255434

I was never a fan of plain custard...only having the Birds Instant over here in England, but this made me a very happy girl. Oh how I love comfort food.

    Recipe #232222

Good for hungry families and covered dish suppers :)

Easy, slightly spiced pancakes. If you make them a bit bigger than described, kids like them with Nutella, Peanut butter, etc...spread on them and rolled up. :)

    Recipe #221507

These are just nice basic meatballs, yummy taste, and excellent for picky eaters. Pretty quick when you get the hang of meatball making in general. These freeze well.

    Recipe #206846

Lovely beef stew cooked in the oven...can leave it on low for hours and it just gets better.

Works a treat for paper mache, just use paint brushes to get it on! We usually add a bit of food coloring so that we can see where we have painted it on.

Once you get the hang of chopping up a pumpkin (or the skill of using the can opener) this recipe is just super easy. The prep time is mostly just chopping the silly thing up, so don't let the time scare you. You literally just chop, boil, stir in. Came up with this on a cold, English night when I just wanted come creamy comfort food. Good luck, and let me know what you think.
