This is a low carb, SB friendly, really quick and delicious breakfast. I found this and a couple others on a SB forum and wanted to post it here so I wouldn't lose it like all the other recipes I print out! I have found if you use a regular size (salad, soup, cereal size) bowl it works the best. Put a small spoonfull of sugar free jam in the middle after it's done cooking and cooled down a bit to make any flavor danish you like! Yum!
I really like to whip this up and let it cook all day. Even better tasting the next day, if there is any left. Serve it up with crusty French bread and you are set. I just started throwing things together in a pot one day when I was hungry for soup and this was born. My kids like it with mild sausage but the Hubby and I prefer the spicy.
This is incredible for company or just to make on a quiet afternoon. The taste is Fabulous! I found this in a recent food magazine flyer and played around with it to make it healthier, without losing any flavor.
