    This is SO much nicer than store bought cordial and with not too much effort. Everybody I know loves it when I make my own cordial. For those that have never tried home made, use the cordial sparingly as it seems strong than store bought. May be start with 1/2 inch in your glass and adjust according to your taste. I have also made this with other citrus fruits. You could use 3 oranges & 3 lemons or just use limes. Delish!

    This is my husband's favourite chocolate cake. It's a quick and easy one bowl mix. No electric mixer needed. The recipe originally came to me back in the late 1980's via the fax machine when I was working a little country newspaper. It was promotional material by White Wings.     This is a recipe that my mother-in-law baked countless times. A favourite of the shearer's she cooked for during shearing season. She's been asked for this recipe many, many times. Hers always tasted spicier than mine and I suspect she used a heaped teaspoon of spice. I also noticed that she never owned a set of measuring cups or spoons. Just used a teacup and cutlery from her to drawer to measure. Ahhh, the simple old days and delightful foods.

    I got the recipe from a good friend's Maltese mother when I was first married back in 1981. We would visit and her mother almost always had a batch of this very moist, dense, rich cake that was almost pudding like in consistency.     Found this online a couple of years ago and it is probably my most made tofu recipe. Easy to prepare and delicious. Once you've made this, you can adjust individual ingredients to your liking. I sometimes add just a little more peanut butter. (Preparation time includes marinading time)

    Another recipe from my Mother-in-law. This is a lovely old fashioned meat paste to spread on sandwiches. My husband and his oldest 2 sons absolutely loved this in days gone by. The recipe does not state what type of steak to use. I have made this several times with a cheaper cut and it just lovely. (Not sure of quantity this makes as I haven't made it for a long time. Also depends on the size jars you use. I will amend this when I make it again and can state how much it makes) Also note: Recipezaar wants to change the ingredient of "Anchovy sauce" to anchovies, sauce. This is actually a sauce that you can buy here in Australia.
