Don't knock it 'til you've tried it! I'm always looking for ways to add healthy bits to yummy food and chocolate is my go-to for that. If you've never used/tried chia seeds, this is a great way to start! They are full of protein and omega fats and the best part is they double as an egg substitute. To make it all you have to do is combine 1 Tbsp of chia seeds with 9 Tbsp of water, let it sit and watch it gel. Then, I just use it in place of some of my eggs and, voila! This recipe is lower in fat because it doesn't have any oil and I use greek yogurt instead of sour cream. You could make it even lower by eliminating the chocolate chips. While the chia seeds do have fat, they are the good omegas so, really, you're doing the body good, for sure! Try it - you won't be disappointed!

    Recipe #488675

I've tried so many muffin recipes over the years and, by far, this one is the best I've come up with so far. Super moist and chocolaty with the goodness of whole wheat, banana, apple and walnut oil. Yum!!!

    Recipe #360438

This is a recipe that cooks up fast and can be frozen for many future quick suppers. My mom used to make this for us at least a couple of times a month and we all loved it, especially my brother, Matt!

    Recipe #360416

I've made this dozens of times and, every time, it's the first thing gone off the table. People love it, even my Grandpa, who staunchly ate only all things bland.

    Recipe #221852

I have no idea where the name comes from because there is no snake in the ingredients but my dad used to make this as his "fancy cooking", although it is super easy to make. He did a good job, too, because I was a picky eater and still loved it. Even the water chestnuts!

    Recipe #360415

This recipe was given to me by a good friend, Helen, and my entire family is in her debt for it. Everyone loves it, it looks beautiful and is embarrassingly easy to make! Plus, it can be prepared ahead, frozen and then baked when needed. It's a staple at all our holiday gatherings.

    Recipe #347011

This is a recipe that has been passed down through my family and we love, love, love it!! My husband calls it Chop Long Time, only because although it takes only 10 minutes to do the prep, it takes about 2-3 hours in the oven. I've done this recipe on the stove, in the oven and in the slow cooker and all have worked wonderfully! Enjoy!

    Recipe #325521

This is a recipe that I adapted from one I saw on YouTube. I have tried making homemade yogurt many times, using various methods and, BY FAR, this is the easiest way I've found. AND...It makes fabulous yogurt! I followed the directions on YouTube and mixed some with berries and honey. Yum!
