Many years ago a very popular local tea room published this recipe in our town's newpaper. It is a much loved item they have carried for many years on their menu. Pretty easy to prepare and makes a large amount. The recipe can easily be cut down. I am happy to share it with everyone.

    Recipe #487033

My Aunt Joyce gave me this recipe many years ago. It is always on our holiday table. It is similiar to other brocolli casserole recipe's, yet different in the fact that the rice is separate from the cheese. DH teases me because I don't like my food all "mooshed" together. I think the flavors are enhanced when separate. Also, I am giving the amount of butter as I was originally told, it is a shocking amount, feel free to use much less, it will still be great.

    Recipe #454054

I received this recipe over 30 years ago from a friend at our church. It is so easy and quick to prepare. It is pretty and is tasty enough to serve guests or for a holiday get-together. The thing I like about it the most is that it is semi-homemade.

    Recipe #454052

This recipe is very popular in our family. when the garden starts producing cucumbers, we prepare this easy, yummy salad/dip!!! We've been making it for so long, no one remembers where we found it. It can easily be made healthier by using fat free mayo and dressing and splenda. Everyone gets to enjoy it!!!

    Recipe #378204

My little 7 lb min pin has always had a delicate tummy. He cannot even tolerate a dog treat that is not part of his regular daily diet. Normally we give him one kind of dog food, period. Any diversion can cause an upset tummy. The vet has often prescribed a bland diet until his tummy returns to normal. When I explained this recipe to the vet, he approved it as a suitable substitute for the expensive prescription bland dog food.

    Recipe #299944

Easy light fluffy icing. Firm enough to pipe a border around a cake, yet soft enough to fluff up. I have made this for several wedding cakes, topping with white chocolate curls. A pretty addition to this is to dip strawberries in the white chocolate and place around the cake. Or add food coloring and use in a multitude of ways. I used this icing over the weekend to make a layered blue cake with "whitecaps" and added duckies to match the "Blue Baby Shower Punch" 114506. It was a huge success.

    Recipe #298863

This recipe is a "cheater". It is quick and easy for a good meal after work when you are in a hurry. Or, if you have left over roast beef on hand and want to make your own polenta, you can make it more "homemade". I love it. There is some heat to it, buy mild tomatoes with chiles if you prefer. Enjoy!!

    Recipe #288771

Easy to put together, then relax while it bakes. Found this on the web.

    Recipe #287816

This recipe came from an old farm journal cookbook that I can't even remember where I got, but the recipe is good, tastes great and is easy to make. Enjoy!

    Recipe #284082

My Gram, Hallie, made this dip every Christmas. I can't imagine a holiday without it. I now make it as she has passed on, and am sure my daughter will carry on the tradition as she loves it also. Simple to make, yummy to eat. Made similar to a tuna salad.
