Trying to make some healthier snacks and breakfasts and this is the result. Hope you like it. I think a full banana would taste better but the 1/2 banana did the trick for us. I used 1 cup of Silk Pure Almond Milk in place of the skim milk for the family. I'm still a skim milk girl....

    Recipe #460620

From lack of finding the "real deal" at the grocery store, this is my version. I have never had it before, but my Sister In Law was telling me she thought it sounded like something I would like. Hope you enjoy my version. I used low fat cream cheese and low sugar raspberry preserves. Be sure to adjust the chipotle pepper to your taste. I would begin by adding about 1/4 of a pepper and continue to add for the heat you like. Servings is a guess because I think I could eat the whole thing by myself.

    Recipe #372644

My own concoction after trying many recipes that weren't as creamy as I like. Feel free to adjust it to your taste also. I use this in my electric ice cream maker and it makes about 4-5 quarts.

    Recipe #460878

This is my result after many attempts at a creamy vanilla ice cream. We really like this one! Hope you do too. (The 1/2 Cup of Sugar is optional - I think it tastes fine without it, but some like their ice cream really sweet.)

    Recipe #460533

I LOVE this quick, easy recipe for breakfast or dinner. All package pancake mixes are a little different, I use a Buttermilk store brand that you just add water to. I use it for 18 or more pancakes (about two cups) and then add the water it indicates on the package. This recipe comes from my sister (she served it to hungry kids when they had sleepovers). If you like less sausage and want more of the "cake", just use 8 ounces of the sausage links. I've also added 1/2 cup of syrup to the batter for a little extra sweetness and flavor. This cake will not always become golden brown, just a little around the edges.

    Recipe #452478

Easy and tasty for breakfast, brunch or appetizers. Made this up because I am quite the lazy cook sometimes. :) I only use 4 biscuits, you can bake the remainder to have with the quiches. Feel free to add onions, peppers or whatever you like in yours.

    Recipe #416829

My good friend gave me this recipe. She serves it at her "girls" functions. It is light and good. I think it would be great with fresh strawberry slices in the summer. My family really likes it and I just serve the pieces with a dollop of cool whip instead of frosting the entire cake. It keeps the cake from getting soggy. Hope you enjoy it.

    Recipe #413392

This is in memory of my dad. He would cook dinner when my mother worked nights and she would tell him to fix something "healthy" for us kids. Hope you enjoy it :). Be prepared to eat this with a fork. (Preparation and cooking time depends on how you cook your dogs and chili and whether you buy shredded lettuce and cheese).

    Recipe #355588

This recipe came from the, I have made it several times for my family and wanted to share it with you also. Enjoy!

    Recipe #324396

This recipe is from the All Recipe site by John Pickett with lots of great reviews. These biscuits are exactly what I was looking for. I modified the recipe just a bit due to suggestions by some of his reviewers and it worked great for me also. Thanks to him I can now bake biscuits I like! I'm going to make some ahead for the freezer since we liked this recipe so well.

    Recipe #467517

This recipe came from my good friend Nicole. She invited us to dinner one night when she prepared it and gave me the recipe before we moved.. My family really likes it! You can add bread crumbs to the top if you like and I have even added more mushrooms and a little hot sauce to kick it up, but that's personal taste.

    Recipe #410447

This is a light delicious fruit whip salad that goes over well at gatherings. I use the lowest calorie/fat whipped topping I can find and sugarfree pudding and pineapple in it's own juice (no sugar added). Cooking time is for chilling.

    Recipe #430504

This is not a mayo type's a vinegar, mustard tangy dressing with just a bit of sweetness. You can always add more sugar if you like it sweeter :D. I used this on packaged dry coleslaw mix (about 3-4 cups) from the grocers but it is delicious over Trader Joe's Healthy 8 Chopped Veggie Mix. Hope you enjoy it. My husband thought this would be delicious on fish tacos also!

    Recipe #476070

This recipe was given to me by one of my good friends when we were discussing all the recipes we wanted to try with zucchini. I adjusted it to meet our taste (we like it more tart and zesty). Please feel free to adjust it to meet your tastes also. The prep time and cook time is approximate, I've never really timed myself because I'm usually doing several things at one time.

    Recipe #461225

This recipe came from my mom and I always loved the flavors. It is very easy and quick and seems to please even picky eaters. Since we have diners that do not like spicy foods, you might want to add heat to yours! You can cook this on the stove top also, (You can also buy the smaller cans of vegetable juice if you don't want red beer with the leftover juice :D).
