Created to fill a chocolate roll that I covered in dark Lindt chocolate. This is fluffy, yet rich, and delightfully minty

    Recipe #444807

From the Canadian Living Test Kitchen

    Recipe #443891

This was "created" on a day with minimal ingredients in the house. I am more of a fan of ground beef rather than shredded beef but either can be used. Also, my preference for this dish is medium ground beef. I know!! More fat, but the flavor is great!! Again - your choice! I guessed on the ounces of the can of black beans - just the normal size is fine. Easy to modify to your personal taste.

****REVISED**** Thank you for your review Jeep95 - I just always thought I had measured wrong so I added more flour. Fixed it up now!!! Aunt Linda's wonderful recipe....again! These are just phenomenal and SO easy to make in the bread maker. My aunt is just an amazing baker and I have been so lucky to have her recipes! Prep time includes one and a half hours in bread machine.

Authentic Pennsylvania Dutch recipe using BUTTERMILK! This used the shortening icing. Now, I love butter but can't imagine using any other icing (such as the marshmallow creme and butter icing in some recipes) if you're looking for an authentic whoopie pie. ENJOY!

The BEST recipe that I've had. From Canadian Living.

    Recipe #329407

After anything chocolate, my favorite combination - butter and sugar!

    Recipe #329406

    Aunt Linda's yummy recipe!

    Recipe #329405

From Linda's Low carb menus and Recipes site. Rich and decadent. Crustless so you may want to add a crust depending on personal preference. Cook time is chill time. Can be garnished with whipped cream and grated chocolate!

Found this on Zaar and could never find it again. Luckily I had written it down when my printer was down.

Mom's style - had at every holiday gathering while growing up. Tastes great with an oreo cookie crust too! Just replace graham cracker crumbs with oreo cookie crumbs
