    Curried Chicken and Broccoli Casserole
    Handle

Got this recipe from a blog called Life as a Mom. Haven't tried yet but want to in my next oamc session. Prep time includes cooking chicken and broccoli.

    Vietnamese Glazed Skinny Pork Chops
    Handle

Recipe from Food & Wine, June 2008. This was awesome! Surprisingly sweet yet savory. Worked well as an OAMC dump recipe. Threw it all in a zip lock and froze it then put in frig for a couple days to defrost and marinate. Delicious! I used extremely cheap pork chops and they turned out great. Prep time doesn't include marinating time.

    Ranch Chicken Patties
    Handle

I got this recipe from a friend of mine who says she got it from an old Betty Crocker book, I think. Anyway, it is so easy and good. She says that it reheats well and is good cold. Fast and easy recipe!

Ravioli Vegetable Lasagna - Spinach, Artichoke, Asparagus - Yum!

I saw Rachael Ray make this on TV. I made it the other night. It is fantastic! I easily cut the recipe in half.

    Little Smokies in Cherry Preserves
    Handle

My aunt always makes little smokies this way. It's by far the best recipe and easiest that I know for little smokies. I couldn't find one like it on Zaar. We use it on family buffets for events such as showers or Super Bowl and it is always a favorite.

    Cooked Radishes are Yummy!
    Handle

Ever had cooked radishes? You should try them. They are totally different cooked. Milder taste and turn a really pretty light pinkish/purple color.

A Yummy Twist on Sausage Rolls
    Handle

I got this recipe from a friend of mine whose sister-in-law is a caterer. The idea is simple with simple ingredients, but they are lots of fun and flavorful. Good for breakfast or brunch when you need to feed guests.

    Recipe #144920

    Select
BBQ Shrimp and Cheese Grits - Yum!
    Handle

I was skeptical of the flavors in this recipe, but the dish is fantastic! I got this recipe is from the Dec/Jan 2006 Light and Tasty Mag (submitted by Judith Kin, Madisonville, TN). I made a few changes, but overall the recipe is hers. I can't take credit for it. Thanks Judith!!

    Lime Brussels Sprouts - Delicious!
    Handle

I was having oven baked chimis this evening and the only thing I had in the frig for a side was brussels sprouts. My husband said that brussels sprouts don't go well with mexican food, so I said I'd add lime to them to give them a mexican feel. He just laughed. Surprisingly we loved them! A zingy fun combination of flavors.

The Best Restaurant Salsa Made at Home
    Handle

I don't know about you, but I'm so frustrated with salsa in a jar. We were so surprised to find out our favorite restaurant salsa contained only 4 ingredients!! My husband and I have tried every type there is - from big brand names to local brands. We have been searching for a salsa that tastes like what we get at our favorite local mexican restaurants. In the past, I've tried making my own but it hasn't been any better than store bought. Now I've found it though. One of our local restaurants posted their recipe on the wall...though it was for a 6 pound can of tomatos. So I've had to guess at amounts, but it turns out yummy everytime. ADDICTING!! And best of all it's only 4 ingredients!!!

    Delicious Pork and Noodles
    Handle

This is the simplest pork and noodles recipe I know. It takes only 5 ingredients - two of which are salt and pepper. My kids LOVE this!! You'll be amazed at how good this is. I cook the meat in my crockpot, but my mom has always done it on the stovetop. I never believed her when she said it was flavored basically with salt, pepper and beef broth. I thought I was so smart and added spices and garlic, but I found that nothing I tried was as good as her version. As they say, mother knows best....uuggghhh!
