An extremly good recipe and what could be better than a crock-pot recipe on a busy day. My family loves this, it is quite warming in the winter months, and is still a good dish in the summer. I think this is different than anything else I've seen on zaar, it comes from Taste of Home.

    Recipe #148169

Ready for an old fashion taffy pull? This recipe is wonderful. If you have children, you have the added bonus of great family fun. My boys loved to make it and the pleasure of making their own candy couldn't be beat. Taste great and is just good family enjoyment to fix.

    Recipe #148156

This is a recipe I have been making for about 24 years. I can't remember the lady's name who published the book I got it from, but she was a real stickler about what you feed your kids. I started making this when my boys were preschool age. I would always make sure a had a big batch when they had a sitter, so she didn't fill them up with junk, and they would be on a sugar high when I got home at night. I am still making this today and I enjoy it as a healthy meal or snack anytime. I must say I usually triple this when I make it, as there was 5 of us.It keeps well in frig for a few days, and the boys would eat it for snacks a lot. It made me feel better that they were eating healthy. I used American cheese and I must say on my bowl I would add salt. I love this dish.

    Recipe #148152

This has to be one of the most flavorful coleslaws I have ever made. The flavors blend wonderfully. The addition of olives is a welcome surprise in the flavor. The best part is make ahead. Most slaws I have to wait till time to serve to add the dressing. This gets better overnite, so it is great to make ahead and out the door. Or it is one more dish you can get done the day before company coming, which is what I love. But irregardless of all those perks, it is a dish that I would make even if it was a little bit of a pain. Hope you enjoy it.

    Recipe #148123

This is a remarkably tasty dish. Love to cook it in the fall. The combination of apples and pork can't be beat. It may take a little effort, but believe me it is worth it. This is a Taste of Home Recipe. Don't let the length of ingredients fool you, it's really not that bad, just assemble everthing you need first and it will go quickly. Also don't fret if you don't have an ovenproof 12 inch skillet, that just makes it more convient, just tranfer to baking dish.

These look fabulous and easy. Haven't made this yet, just found recipe in today's St. Louis Post Dispatch Paper, but wanted to get it posted so others could try it too. The photo looks impressive. Says it is adapted from

The is a great soup for a cold winter day. Very comforting and not your usual fare. It is delicious, easy to make, and very satisfying. This comes from Light and Tasty. About 5pts I'm guessing for Weight Watchers.

    Recipe #146788

These cups are one of the easiest, tastiest, deserts I have made that gives a great impression to serve. These are low in fat, or they don't have to be, by using regular cream cheese and sour cream. Also you can use any fruit that you like on top. I really like using strawberries and kiwi when they are in season. This is from Light and Tasty magazine. They look as good as they taste.

    Recipe #146451

Missouri is cookin'. This is a recipe from the Best of Missouri Cookbook, taken from the Covered Bridge Neighbors Cookbook. This is a simple economic recipe that is great. When I made it for my family, they were glad that there was "plenty more" in the kitchen, they loved it.

    Recipe #146450

Men seem to love this. This is different than the other one pot dinners I have seen posted. Easy simple and the crock pot is always the best way to cook on a busy day. This dish is great for the winter on a cold blustery day. Tastes great, easy, what more could we ask for.

    Recipe #146447

Looking for a fabulous new breakfast? This is it, very easy to fix, and makes a wonderful presentation when serving. Great for any day of the week, or makes an impression on guests. They taste as yummy as they look. I started making these about 15 years ago when my son was in middle school. After sleepovers, the other boys would be so impressed with breakfast, and would beg their moms to get the recipe. The great thing was, this recipe is easy enough for that age group to make themselves. Hope you try it, we love it. This is a Taste of Home recipe.

    Recipe #146357

These cookies are melt in your mouth delicious. They are different from anything else I have ever made. They are so buttery. I have been making these for 19 years and they are the ones my family always request at the holidays. The recipe was found in a cookbook from Christian Academy School my son attended when he was young. The book said it is the same cookies that they make at the famous Peabody Hotel, hence the name.

    Recipe #146352

This is a very different type of cranberry dish, it goes well with anything that you would normally use cranberry sauce with. It is a must have for the holidays. I don't know where the recipe originated, but I got it from a good friend about 25 years ago, I have been making it ever since, I hope you try it, this is a wonderful dish. My favorite is with turkey and dressing. The different textures and flavors of this dish are suburb.
