Got this recipe from a flyer at the grocery store. I used ground turkey because that's what I had. I like the hint of cinnamon. It's not "real" chili but it's good for a quick and easy meal.

I saw this recipe on Pinterest, pinned from a food blog. I made them for dinner tonight and they are light and fluffy inside with a buttery crunch on the outside and so easy to make. My new favorite biscuits!

From Cleo Coyle's Coffeehouse Mysteries series. I made two batches of these, one using steel cut oats and the other using rolled oats. Both were good, just a different texture. I also got 9 muffins instead of 6 from both batches.

    Recipe #465318

I got this recipe from the Food section of the local newspaper. They credited it to Cacique. I posted it as written, but unless you're eating this as your main dish I think it's more like 6 servings.

    Recipe #463531

This recipe was in our local newspaper the other day and it sounded like something I'd like to try. I used mango in my salsa.

    Recipe #461181

This recipe came from a Better Homes and Gardens crock pot cookbook. I love sweet potatoes and thought this would be a nice change from the usual pot roast. I used apple juice in place of the water.

    Recipe #460783

I got this recipe out of the local newspaper. We love coleslaw so I thought this would be a nice twist.

This recipe came from a cookbook I bought from a local church school. This recipe caught my eye so of course I had to try it out. I'm glad I did!

    Recipe #454840

My son had this at a cookout and told me about it so of course we had to try it at home. It's super simple and so good. I used Fischer & Wieser Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce.

America's Test Kitchen, from the Episode: Dinner with a Spanish Accent. My husband saw this episode and asked me to make this. *To use long-grain rice instead of medium-grain, increase the water to 3/4 cup in step 2.

    Recipe #371859

When I was growing up I wouldn't eat cooked cabbage. My mom cooked it until it was grey and mushy and smelled awful. Ick! After I was grown I played around with it til I came up with something I liked and I make it this way every year for New Years.

    Recipe #346662

I got this recipe off a package of blackeyed peas and tweaked it a little bit. This is the way I always make our New Years blackeyed peas.
