This EASY shredded turkey recipe is great on good quality, buttery sandwich rolls. I know, it sounds weird, but trust me, its wonderful! Just an FYI - it makes a lot and freezes perfectly!

If you haven't heard of or made "wacky cake" before, don't let the strange combo of ingredients scare you away. Trust me, it will be one of the most moist and delicious cakes you'll ever have! Unlike traditional wacky cake, this recipe makes a wonderful and refreshing lemon cake rather than a chocolate cake. Personally, I think it's the perfect summer dessert!

Although I haven't tried this recipe yet, it sounds pretty scrumptuous. My mom got this one out of a grilling cookbook that came with her Weber grill. She made it a few nights ago and has just raved about it since. She did have one suggestion (maybe 1/4 cup instead)...cut down on the soy sauce a bit. I guess its a little on the salty side.

This is one of my aunt’s staple recipes. She is a wonderful cook known for knack for “fresh tasting” food – this recipe is exactly that. It is always a big hit at our family functions. There is quite a bit of room for personalization with the herbs…just add what you like and how ever much you’d like. I love cilantro and dill, so I am pretty generous with both, but personally I don’t even think it needs the parsley. It’s completely up to you. Also, you will have extra dressing, but trust me its great in a plain old green salad too! One more recommendation…make this a day or two before you plan on serving it, if possible. Although it’s great right away, this is definitely one of those dishes that gets better over a little time. Cook time does not include the resting time for the salad dressing.

I was constantly buying those pre-made, individual pudding cups to throw in my lunches and was, consequently, spending way too much money for 4 ounces! I'm on a tight budget and have a really hectic schedule, so I figured bringing my own instant pudding cups would be my best option. After a little experimentation, I came up with a quick, ultra-creamy creation that puts the store-bought cups to shame. This recipe is beyond simple and easily adaptable...just add whatever pudding flavor you're in the mood for at the time! I've used fat-free/sugar-free ingredients, but that is obviously completely optional. Enjoy!

This sandwich is a combo of all my favorites...hummus, tomatoes, artichokes, pita bread, and cheese. What's not to love?! I like it both cold or warm, just depends on what I’m in the mood for. Its perfect for a light lunch or cut it into wedges and serve as an appetizer. Make sure you don't bypass toasting the pita bread. I'm not sure why, but it makes all the difference in taste and texture. I've used both commercially prepared and homemade hummus. They both work fine, but if you have the time definitely go with your own mix. Otherwise give Gingerbee's Hummus Amongus (#22060) a whirl...yum! If you don’t have gruyere cheese, any plain old swiss works just fine. Enjoy!
