This tomato sauce is the best...so easy to make...will not heat up your kitchen and the finishing result is wonderful. You can easily double or triple the recipe! What a great way to use up your summer tomatoes!
I just saw this pasta being made on Rachel Ray's 30 minute meal, and although it was showcased as a side dish, I think this would go great on its own with some crusty garlic bread. It seems easy and fast enough to make! So, I decided to post this for safe keeping.
You can now have your scones and coffee cake in one! I made these this morning and they certainly deserve to be show cased here. Since you use buttermilk in this recipe it isn't too fatty, so will not make you feel all that guilty!
Ok...here in the US avocados are used in savory salads...but in Brazil we eat them sweet. This is known as "creme de abacate", when blended with sugar and milk this comes out to be a creamy goodness, trust me! Before making this make sure you chill the entire avocado so it is nice and cold.
This recipe was found in Taste of Home; contributed by Coleen Johnson from New York. I like using this recipe because it is relatively low in fat and is full of chocolate chips in every bite. It also only has a slight banana flavor, and does not over power the chocolate. It rises up nicely and is not overly moist (if that makes any sense). Sometimes too much moisture makes the muffin a bit "soggy" and thus spoils faster (mold).
