My old neighbor has managed a Red Lobster for years and this is his recipe for these yummy buscuits ! My 13 yr old loves making these and we always double the recipe.

    Recipe #238907

There was a restaurant famous for these in Nebraska, actually they were famous for all their desserts. These were always a family favorite and I've had the recipe for many years. This calls for 9 eggs and no it is not a misprint !

    Recipe #228914

Another classic salad dressing. Serving size based on 1/4 cup.

    Recipe #237899

This is the absolute favorite cookie in my house. I've been using this exact recipe for the past 6-8 years which originally came from a high school cafeteria cookbook. It was tough trying to get this recipe, then after I got it, it was for 350 servings ! It's now scaled down to 4 dozen, but they don't last long...maybe 350 cookies IS the way to go ! ETA: Reviewers have added an extra cup of flour to the mix with success. I still make them as originally posted.

    Recipe #250824

This makes for a quick chocolate fix ! It's not your grandma's fudge by any means, but it will cure your sweet tooth in a short amount of time. Add whatever type of nut you prefer or keep it plain.

    Recipe #249752

What's better than bread pudding ? This sounds delish ! Another recipe out of my Missouri Amish cookbook 1990. I am unsure of the serving size or pan size.

    Recipe #237760

I finally found this recipe after looking for it for years! I used to make this for my boys on their birthdays but switched to cinnamon rolls after I misplaced the recipe. I top it with re-whipped store bought frosting and mini m&m's. Printed in the winter 1998 issue of Mr. Food's Easycooking and posted here so I won't lose it again!

    Recipe #356896

A great recipe for older kids to make and enjoy.

    Recipe #234760

My mom is British and has been making this for years. My favorite meal growing up and now it's turned into my teenagers favorite as well. OXO cubes are an English bouillon cube which you can crumble in your fingers. They come in a red box and can be found where English foods are bought. NOTE: If you don't use OXO brand cubes, it completely changes the taste and the salt content !

    Recipe #230301

Another recipe from the Gooseberry Patch girls. This recipe does not include any type of sweet topping. I like them with a cinnamon butter spread on top.

    Recipe #325054

Who doesn't love warm cobbler...and purple teeth ? You may substitute any fresh fruit for the blueberries.

    Recipe #236823

From Hall's Potato Harvest Cookbook. Tender inside and nice and crusty outside. They suggest serving them with chicken breasts or steak. I suggest making a bunch of them !

    Recipe #236483

This is from the Schoolhouse Cookbook, 2001. They recommend pairing this with steamed asparagus.

    Recipe #237900

Perfect for gift giving! They suggest wrapping these individually in freezer paper. Use the waxy side against the candy then you can decorate the outside of the wrap. Another recipe from a local grocery.

    Recipe #269958

This is great garlic bread ! I have cheated and used what's on hand; minced garlic, salted butter, dried parsley and Italian bread. It's so much better using Martha's way, don't skimp as I did.

    Recipe #243016

There are a couple of recipes on here like this, but they include pumpkin. This one doesn't and is quick to throw together. Made this up for family time and it was a hit. Recipe comes from the Gooseberry Patch girls and they suggest serving this on vanilla wafers.

    Recipe #349876

This is my favorite scone recipe. It comes from the cookbook, Delicious British Edibles, 1985.

    Recipe #236842

This is what Bobby uses to season his french fries at Mesa Grill. This calls for fresh cilantro but I used Knorr cilantro cubes.

    Recipe #403132

Another midwesterner here whose family loves these little gems. This recipe came from a 'best loosemeat recipe' contest in Iowa and this is the winner. My favorite as well ! The chicken broth gives it a very nice flavor.

    Recipe #231784

I can't believe this recipe hasn't been posted here yet ! This is great on taco salads and as a spread for quesadillas.
