Another midwesterner here whose family loves these little gems. This recipe came from a 'best loosemeat recipe' contest in Iowa and this is the winner. My favorite as well ! The chicken broth gives it a very nice flavor.

OXO cubes are an English bouillon cube which you can crumble in your fingers. They come in a red box and can be found where English foods are bought.
NOTE: If you don't use OXO brand cubes, it completely changes the taste and the salt content !

I use a stand mixer starting with the paddle for liquid, when it starts to get thick, switch to your dough hook.
