It was a snowy day today and there wasn't mch food in the house but I came up with this version of a black bean soup. The ingredients where what I had on hand, I'm sure that adding more or less of something or other vegetables to suit ones likings would be fine. I did all my spices to taste.

I found this recipe while bored at work off msn's practical guide to healthier living and I believe the recipe is from eatingwell.com. Anyways it sounds amazing so I'm posting it here for safe keeping.
I got this recipe a few years ago when i used to 'study' in my community college library. it was from Gourmet Magazine. I tried it and really loved by the recipe accidently went through the wash. I couldn't remember how to make it or what it was called but finally found it posted on epicurious.
