Okay, I got this off a chef who didn't give any baking or heat directions, so I've posted what worked for me - which it did, but it might have been a freak accident... And note, this makes HEAPS so I actually halved it, which required, er, half an egg which was difficult to attain, I think I used 80% of the egg since it was hard to stop the whole egg from jumping in. Any suggestions? It came out really well though, because I added in some extra cinnamon and nutmeg to balance out the extra liquid.

    Recipe #147287

The dark hazelnut flavours really complement this sweet tangy vegetarian salad.

    Recipe #145957

This works just as well with pork. It's not overly sweet, but wonderfully different. Great grilled as well. If the fish sauce is too strong, replace a tablespoon of fish sauce with water. Prep time does not include marinade time. If you don;t want to marinade, just use it as a stir-fry sauce.

    Recipe #145956

This is very simple recipe. I replaced the beef with 2 bunches of asparagus and it worked quite well actually. Use it as a sauce for other stir-fries as well.

    Recipe #143832

We had leftover caramel apples from a Halloween party, so I turned them into this, using a Jamaican recipe for the pastry. It's not too sweet, so I like it.

    Recipe #143702

Haven't made these but the pic supplied looks cute!! And they're also pretty healthy for you.

    Recipe #143582

I like this because all of the other chestnut cake cal for whipped cream, and this only uses it as decoration so I can leave it off if I want to. The chestnut filling is my favourite part!!!

    Recipe #143218

I adapted this to suit what ingredients I had, and my time frame (which was short, because I was hungry :P) and it turned out SO deliciousl. Great for a summer's day! Can serve 3-4 as a side dish.

    Recipe #143152

This takes only 8-10 minutes to cook, because it's in the microwave!!! Don't let that put you off, it's REALLY easy, I am the WORLD'S WORST at microwave cakes, but this one WORKED so I'm really happy - and it tastes great too! The original recipe called for sour cream but I substituted with non-fat yoghurt. And I added LSA (linseed-almond-sunflower) mix and wholewheat flour, but here I've written the recipe for using plain flour.

    Recipe #143023

This is from Donna Hay. You can use it to fill pastry tarts and top with fruit, or to accompany cakes. It's like a very thick custard.

    Recipe #142509

These are so cute! Be careful- don't let these dry out while you're finishing them off, or they'll become sticky. Keep a damp teatowel over them. They're very healthy too. The amount of wrappers needed is just an approximation. I've given two sauces, choose whichever you like. The first one is a traditional one, the second one isn't. Also, if you feel the chives are a bit fiddly, place on a tray and bake these at 170 degrees C for 10 minutes for a healthy alternative to deep frying.

    Recipe #142357

Got this recipe from MX who got this from Celebrity Tempting Treats made with Equal...I'm GLAD everyone is sharing this wonderful recipe because it's not only divine but very light too! I used sugar in place of equal.

    Recipe #141861

These are very simple, and you can make two flavours - coconut and chocolate. It's a bit like Brazilian fudge for those of you who haven't tried this. I like to roll the chocolate flavour in Oreo crumbs for a delicious treat.

    Recipe #141527

I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds like a intruguing south-east Asian twist on the classic dumpling!

    Recipe #141518

Nice, simple and different. Use any combination of vegetables you like, and adjust the ingredients to taste.

    Recipe #141374

Something I made up with an interesting texture. The best thing is it has plenty of flavour without a long marinade time!

    Recipe #141372

By Brigitte Hafner. "In this Middle Eastern Treat, ground almonds are cooked with sugar and milk, then finished with honey syrup and orange blossom water." Orange blossom water should be available from delis.

    Recipe #140946

Good for diabetics. It has no artificial sugar, deriving its sweetness from pear concentrate, apples and prunes. If pear concentrate is not available, I'm sure apple juice or similar would be fine. The original recipe by Judy Davie called for semolina but I substituted wholemeal flour with great results. You are always welcome to try it with semolina. Also, you might need to adjust the oven time, there was no given one--180°C worked fine for mine.

    Recipe #140905

"This is like a quiche without the pastry and is also a great lunch for the wheat intolerant. For dinner, serve with a fresh green salad and balsamic vinaigrette." - from Judy Davie

    Recipe #140894

Also from Judy Davie - "These use very little flour or fat." They sound really nice and light - great for a lunchbox!
