Found the base for this Pumpkin Bread Recipe in an old Southern Living Cookbook. My 'Mom's Banana Bread' Recipe has a little 'secret' tip to making it so great - (seperating the eggs and beating the whites...). So, I put 2 and 2 together, and oila! Also, I like the rich spiciness that should accompany pumpkin dishes - thus I added the chinese 5 spice, makes it that much better! This is a great Fall / Holiday Bread -- I think you'll agree.

    Recipe #339119

I found this recipe online (another site) - and it sounded okay, but - a lot of the ratings said it was bland and suggested that the next time they made this recipe they would add this or that. Thus, I took some of their suggestions and added a few of my own, and the result - YUM!

    Recipe #331655

I took two different recipes here & combined them. However - some of both of these recipes ingredients didn't quite give enough flavor to the dish. Thus, I have experimented with some flavors I believe work very nicely here and the result is quite good indeed. My husband, (who is a very picky eater by the way), couldn't get enough.

    Recipe #318642

I had a recipe for a Strawberry Whipped Sensation - but, my husband suggested using the fresh peaches we had and graham crackers instead. I went one step further because I had a pint of sweet fresh blueberries & combined the two. In combination with the graham cracker bottom, this tastes like a peach/blueberry cheesecake - frozen, yummy for the hot summer months!

    Recipe #309474

I loved Paula Deen's 'Peanut Butter Cheese Fudge' recipe SO much, I thought -- hmmmm, let's try the basic recipe but instead of peanut butter, I'll use Vanilla Almond Bark and Andes Peppermint Crunch Baking Bits instead.... Needless to say, this turned out VERY YUMMY-- :0-)

    Recipe #297075

I was inspired by a really great recipe I found here, (Dana-MMH - Recipe#17990) -- Thanks Dana for the 'inspiration'. My recipe begins similarly - but, I add some very unique items in this recipe. It made my whole house smell so good, and was very delicious Jan 5th, 2008 for dinner :-)

    Recipe #277417

Just like my Mom's BEST Banana Bread Recipe -I have tried, sampled, and made other Stuffing/Dressing Recipes before and believe me, NOTHING else comes close. Again, a little more work/fuss involved here as with Mom's Banana Bread, but WELL worth it. This submission is dedicated to my beloved Great Grandmother, God rest her soul - Ora Anice Adams-Tanzy...

    Recipe #267381

Found the original Recipe in the Feb. 2007 Issue of 'Food & Wine' Magazine - which also calls for apples, I did not do the apples. Needless to say, while cooking - I substituted and added according to my taste -and it turned out very good, and very rich indeed. I served it with 'Savory Cheese and Herb Biscuits' Recipe found here by William (Uncle Bill) Anatooskin (thanks Bill, they paired perfectly!)

    Recipe #262193

I actually combined two recipes I had seen and wanted to try. This is a joint effort of a Martha Stewart Recipe and a Food Network Recipe - that I mixed together. It turned out VERY good!

    Recipe #262177

Again, another way I came up with to get rid of leftover chicken & quite yummy I might add! I LOVE lemon and incorporated it into this chicken Caesar salad -- lettuce here is not a staple ingredient, although - this salad is wonderful in endive or lettuce cups!

    Recipe #261943

I have a favorite Zesty Lemon Broccoli recipe from childhood & was in the mood for Pasta salad with tuna -- using a similar pasta recipe which incorporates shrimp and asparagus -- the following is the result, which turned out very good indeed!

    Recipe #254969

I grew up in an Italian household with my Grandfather (Carl D'andrea), teaching me from early childhood, his family recipe for 'basic tomato sauce' or marinara (not written down, completely from memory). I know this recipe like the back of my hand, and when I recently found myself with leftover italian sausages, peppers, and onions from italian sausage sandwiches the night before - I decided to 'get creative' with my grandfathers marinara recipe in combination. Awesome flavor, very good over pasta -- enjoy, & as my Grandpa used to say, 'Mangia!' (which means 'EAT' in Italian)...

    Recipe #253164

Here is another great way to use up leftover chicken -- for breakfast the next morning! Found the inspiration recipe in one of my Food & Wine magazines - however, I did 'tweak' this to our taste & it turned out great!

    Recipe #251958

This is a combination of a couple of chicken salad recipes we have enjoyed, also - had leftover chicken from a rotsserie chicken we had for dinner this evening and with the heat wave we're still experiencing here in Southeast GA, this recipe works well for a cool lunch on a hot day.

    Recipe #251907

Just made some today and it is the best low fat eggnog I have ever had - it is even thick! This rich-tasting version has none of the fat of regular eggnog.

    Recipe #197174

Found the basic recipe in Cooking Light Magazine - I changed some spices and added more juice (with the broth and wine). It sounded like a great way to use up some chicken thighs I got for a steal at the grocery store and it being colder out now, this turned out FANTASTIC!!! My family loved it, and my hubby is VERY picky, he had seconds (which is okay, because it is low cal and good for you).

    Recipe #197079

Got this recipe from Rachel Rays' show, '30 minute meals' - (Food Network). We tried this last Thanksgiving and were hooked! We did lessen the amount of Bourbon in it though, it was overpowering the full amount, which we cut in half.

    Recipe #194128

This is a variation on a black bean dish I found in Cooking Light Magazine. I have substituted some of the spices according to my family's tastes and my food allergies. This version is really fantastic!

    Recipe #194122

I had never thought of trying one of my favorite Appetizer dishes (Bacon wrapped Scallops) with Proscuitto instead, I got the idea and the basic recipe frame from 'Everyday Italian' with Giada DeLorentis (Food Network) - and did some tweaking as well as adding the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce -- WOW, it far exceeded my expectations PLUS the Proscuitto is much leaner than fatty Bacon -- Buon Appetito!

    Recipe #186685

Mexican-inspired casserole which is a great way to use up leftovers, with a cornbread bottom, filling of chicken, corn, mushrooms & sour cream, YUM!
