This was published in our newspaper and described as being a signature dish for the Capo's restaurant.

    Recipe #139260

This recipe is one I make over and over. It comes from a cookbook titled, "The Healthful Chef" authored by E.N. Hetherington M.D.

    Recipe #205958

From Southern Living, Aug. 08. This looks good to me! If you have picky little ones, chop the zucchini and onion into smaller pieces to "hide" the nutritious veggies in the sauce. They recommend serving this over mashed potatoes for a hearty one-dish meal.

    Recipe #317748

This recipe is from Andrew Schloss's Art of the Slow Cooker.Mr. Schloss instructs, "The cornmeal thickens the soup and adds an appealing grainy texture. If you don't have cornmeal, substitute 1 tablespoon flour; it will thicken just as well. Or you can throw in a handful of crumbled corn chips once you add the broth. If you do use the corn chips, don't wait for the broth to thicken in the skillet. Just add everything to the slow cooker and the chips will thicken the soup as it cooks."

    Recipe #447763

My dear MIL passed this recipe on to me, as it is one of DH's favorites. This is a great way to use leftover meat to create a delicious and classy meal. I use cubed cooked pork tenderloin with great results. This curry dish is served over rice. Side dishes can be any combination of cashews, peaches, diced apples or chutney.

    Recipe #136232

Fast, easy and delicious. This recipe was developed by clinical dietitians and published in our local newspaper. Our family really enjoys this.

    Recipe #154205

Published in Light & Tasty as Easy Crab Cakes. We like them best with tuna!

    Recipe #205957

This is a meatless version from an old cookbook of mine called "The Healthful Chef" by E.N. Hetherington, M.D. It is the meal my son requests most; for him I use the ground beef option. It reminds me of SteaknShake's chil mac! Easy and delicious with a small salad and garlic bread or crackers.

    Recipe #140393

From Chef Juan Carlos Cruz-"Calorie Commando" on Food Network- comes this delicious comfort food without the guilt. We had this tonight with grilled pork chops, seasoned green beans and spiced apples. I followed the recipe to the letter and husband, son and I thought it was delicious. Note: it is not at all soupy, so if you like your mac runny, add more milk! Also, we felt it needed salt and fresh ground pepper at the table.

    Recipe #139135

Cooking Light, Aug. 08. Tried it and liked it a lot! Recommended to save 3 of the breasts to use over a Caesar Salad for another lunch or dinner.

    Recipe #317745

From Cooking Light, August 08. DH and I thought this was great! I served with lemon-grilled chicken. YUM!

    Recipe #317742

Published in our Food section of e newspaper. This was wonderful. My new favorite meatloaf recipe!

    Recipe #268228

A coworker gave me this recipe. It's delicious. Imagine my surprise when a few years later I saw the same recipe on the side of a pasta box! Oh, well - still one of our favorites!

    Recipe #182792

This recipe was published in a 1999 issue of Wine Enthusiast magazine. I find myself making meatloaf just so I can make these sandwiches. I hope you like them, too! Sometimes I use mozzarella cheese instead of Jack. These taste great with potato chips or french fries & a dill pickle on the side. Yum!

    Recipe #138396

A recipe by this name was recently published in Woman's Day mag. I came up with this version, using what was in my cupboards, and some leftover pork I needed to use. DH was crazy about it. You could also use cooked Italian sausage or ground beef, or eliminate the meat altogether.

    Recipe #137365

This recipe was printed in our newspaper years ago and has become one of my old reliables. It is quick and easy to make in the microwave and has a delicious flavor my family loves.

    Recipe #136186

I found a similar recipe on the Buitoni pasta web site and have adapted it to our tastes. This is easy and quick to make, but very elegant with an excellent flavor.

    Recipe #177726

From Taste of Home. A regular at our house. Prep time includes marinating time.

    Recipe #177838

Searing the meat helps hold in the juices. This recipe was published in the Parade magazine some time ago. Cooking time includes "resting" time.

    Recipe #155979

These taste wonderful and are DH approved. You are going to love this! I use chicken andouille sausage in this recipe, but chorizo sausage or spicy Italian would work as well.! It is very easy to put together, too. This is not overly spicy as written. You can increase the heat by using more jalapeno, hot salsa and spicy sausage. This recipe is adapted from one published in Woman's Day magazine. I used purchased salsa "medium", and homemade guacamole, recipe #8739. YUMMO!
