Found this on the 'net somewhere. I just love rhubarb sauces.

    Recipe #127048

Found this on the 'net a number of years ago but haven't tried it yet. Number of servings is my guess.

    Recipe #127810

Here is an almond cake a little different. It uses vanilla flavouring but I'm thinking I should try it with almond flavouring too.

    Recipe #126412

There are many things the world can do without. Scones are not one of those things!

    Recipe #127188

The instructions are as I originally found this recipe, for cutting out with a round cutter, but for scones I always pat the dough into a circle and cut it into wedges with a knife. The less the dough is handled the more tender they will be. I am not sure where this came from originally, I found it on the 'net somewhere.

    Recipe #127190

This is quite a quick sauce, the longest part is slicing the mushrooms. Good when you want something quick but not from a jar or a can.

I found this on the 'net in a hungry search for ever more scone recipes. This was listed as being a prize winner in a recipe contest for wheat germ. They don't contain egg so a true scone aficionado would probably say these are a biscuit not a scone.

    Recipe #127194

Tea loaves are among my favourite things to bake. This is one in my to try file so I can't comment yet on how it works. Using the peel of the apple and orange in this would boost the fibre content some.

This one sounds so quick and easy. Haven't tried it yet though. It was shared on a recipes e-list several years ago.

Another no-bowl cake recipe. Found this one on a MasterCook recipe e-list back in 1998. Haven't tried it yet but hope to soon. Update: I have tried this now and used half all-purpose half whole wheat flour and no nuts. It worked very well. Not a high rising cake but it was nice and moist when we had this for breakfast the next morning. Took 25 minutes in a 9 inch pan.

Original from a book "Taste of Summer" by Diane Worthington and taken from a posting to a Mastercook e-list. Number of servings is based on a 4 cups yield and allowing 2 tbsp as a serving size.

Another way to use up ripe bananas!

There are a number of black bean salsas already posted on 'zaar but not one like this. Cook time is chill time.

    Recipe #127826

Blue cheese in soup is wonderful!

    Recipe #126415

Try this as an entree with mashed or roasted potatoes on the side. The origin clipping said to try it sliced as a sandwich filling too. I think this was originally a Cooking Light recipe.

    Recipe #126416

Cheese and dates together in a bar cookie. Yum! Recipe orginally from an advertisement for Canadian cheddar cheese.

Yet another chocolate chip cookie recipe. Soaking the raisins makes these special! Found the original in Bon Appetit in 1990.

    Recipe #126361

There are several similar recipes for this bar here but not the same. This is a Canadian Living recipe that I clipped way back in 1985. Yum!

    Recipe #126304

From a recipe card I picked up in a grocery store many years ago. The addition of bran cereal boosts the fibre content.

These are like a shortbread cookie.
