We recently went to the Gaylord Texan Hotel over Christmas and had a slice of heaven in the form of a key lime pie delivered to our room. It wasn't to tart or to sweet and was oh so creamy. I was trying to recreate it for my DH birthday and hopefully got pretty close. He liked it - asked me to put some back so it wasn't totally eaten up by the family :). I also made some key lime sauce from debloves2cook recipe #166790 and put it on the plate as part of the presentation. Gave each plate a great look as well as a little lime kick. Cook time is refridgeration time. See the bottom of the instructions for a gluten free pie crust variation.

Great side or appetizer. Don't let the ingredient list throw you off, it's easy to put together and tastes pretty good too. I got the original recipe from a cookbook titled 'Carolina Cooking' and wanted to make it a little better for you. I think I succeded without losing any of the flavor. Hope you like...

    Recipe #436366

I am in the first phase of South Beach and wanted to find something that I could have for breakfast with my 1 yr old that was quick, easy (tasted good) and was more than just scrambled eggs. Plus as my mother-in-law is a celiac (can't eat anything with gluten), I'm always trying to create things for her enjoyment as well. I filled it with the SB mocha creme and it hit the spot. I plan to make later today with out the vanilla and splenda and maybe add a pinch of salt to use as a wrap for lunch. Hope you like it!

    Recipe #436331

I went looking for a good chicken dish and came across Recipe #55661. I started to make it and found that I didn't have any heavy cream... By the time that I was done with it this is what I got.

    Recipe #212541

I got this from a friend at work. Thought it would be good to use on all the left over Thanksgiving Turkey. Tip: You can skip the vegetable blend and add the leftover vegetables from Thanksgiving dinner when you stir in the Turkey.
