From the American Heart Association Cookbook. It suggests serving the soup with salad, fresh fruit, and pita chips. The suggested serving is 3/4 cups a person.

    Recipe #439960

I got this recipe off the back of a bag of croutons. I'm posting it here for safekeeping. I haven't tried it yet, but I plan to very soon! It looks wonderful! If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out! =P

    Recipe #315044

This recipe got its start from ladypit's Brown Rice and Lentil Casserole #74629. After weeks of tinkering, I adapted it so much that it really became something totally different. LOL My family, especially my 13 month old, really love this! Wholesome, filling and super easy to throw together! I make this all the time. The leftovers are great, too.

    Recipe #286406

These really could not be easier and taste out-of-this-world! More of a method than a recipe. I make these all the time and hubby and sons beg for them. Nothing makes them sadder than waiting for the pork steaks to go on sale! LOL! Be sure to use pork steaks and not pork chops. Chops will come out really tough and dry this way.

    Recipe #277119

This was originally a scalloped potato recipe that I adapted so much that it became an entity all it's own! We love, love, love this at our house and my DH requests it often. Leftovers (what little there are! LOL) are perfect for breakfast.

    Recipe #259496

I love to have this for lunch! So cheesy and creamy! This is an adapted cheese soup recipe of mine and is it ever delicious! I love cheesy potato soup but since I'm diabetic now, I can't have the carbs. This is a wonderful alternative and GREAT for diabetics! The only carbs are in the milk, and the little bit of flour! And it's so easy to throw together! I just steam the broccoli in the microwave, and then chop it, and the ham, while I wait on the soup to boil.

    Recipe #241056

I wondered how on earth I was going to eat all those veggies I was supposed to eat for nursing. I figured drinking veggie juice would be easiest. This is the only way I'll drink it. Even my 9 year old DS likes it.

    Recipe #221629

My children's elementary school holds a chili supper fund raiser every year because everyone loves it so much. This is my best copy of it. My oldest says it tastes almost exactly like it, and it's super yummy. My husband and I love this, too. Even my 6 year old twins, who are the pickiest kids on the planet, gobble this up! Perfect for people like us who hate biting into beans! LOL Enjoy!

    Recipe #218943

Posting this here for safe keeping. I don't normally use Rachael Ray recipes 'cause she mixes sweet and savory flavors a lot and I find that kinda gross. ;) But this one sounded pretty good. I think I'll leave out the nutmeg, tho. If you try it let me know how it turns out. :)

    Recipe #216244

At our house we call this recipe "cube steaks" but it's actually ground round patties smothered in a delicious gravy. Very simple and perfect for those on a strict budget as we are. :) Serve with lots of hot mashed potatoes, and the gravy spooned over everything. :) This recipe can easily be doubled for a larger group. Make sure you're sitting when you taste this one- it's been known to make the knees buckle-it's THAT good! And don't be alarmed if you find yourself in a wrestling match over the last of the gravy, that's perfecly normal. Enjoy!!

    Recipe #166088

My DH and I hate beans of every sort but love chili. We're freaks- I'm perfectly aware of this. lol :) So I whipped this up and lived out a life-long ambition of eating chili without having to pick around all those nasty beans! So- Fellow Bean-Haters unite and enjoy your first real bite of chili!! :)

    Recipe #165934

Yeah, yeah - I know, I know. Yet ANOTHER Salmon Pattie recipe. ;P But I looked all over the 'zaar and didn't see a recipe for them quite like mine so I thought I'd submit my version. My way to eat them is to just dip 'em in ketchup. My DH likes to gobble them up on hamburger buns with Miracle Whip. These are super easy and bursting with flavor. Huge hit in my house! hope u like 'em! :P

    Recipe #165358

We make this in my family whenever there is a get-together of any kind. I also make them at home for dinner because I refuse to eat green beans any other way now!

    Recipe #136450

My DH and I hate beans of every sort so I came up with these as a change from the usual tacos. I don't really know what to call them so we just call the burritos. Ifyou know a more appropriate name let me know! :p I halve this recipe alot to use up bits of hamburger for a light and quick lunch. Enjoy!

    Recipe #134488

My very own super-duper easy and tasty version of chicken teriyaki. Using dark meat makes it taste like from the restaurant. Very versital-u can add just about any stir-fry veggie u can think of. You'll love it!

    Recipe #134478

TO-DIE-FOR!!! Rich 'n creamy, Thick 'n hearty. It almost breaks my heart to post this recipe! It is my all-time favorite meal and I can't have it anymore 'cause i recently found out I have a hereditary form of type-2 diabetes- Thanks alot Dad! lol Anyways hope U love it as much as I do and eat an extra big bowl for me lol!

    Recipe #134463

I created this yummy casserole from 3 different recipes! Super good, cheap, and simple!

    Recipe #134418

My older sister made this recipe and just called it "Chinese." Very cheap, simple and delicious! What could be better? Enjoy!!
