    Recipe #493714

This was the first recipe for pastry crust I made. It's so easy. It came from my mother's junior cookbook.

    Recipe #93917

From the blog 'Once Upon a Plate' http://www.onceuponaplate1.com. May be frozen.

    Recipe #499780

This was featured with Tyler's Ultimate Spaghetti and Meatballs as an appetizer! Uses Panko Breadcrumbs. Use whatever olives you wish, Tyler used pitted green olives and fresh mozzarella. He uses a whole mozzarella, in the show a bit for the meatballs and the rest he fries in this.

    Recipe #347543

I just bunged this up last night for guests and it was well liked! Next time I am going to add some chopped coriander leaves in with the shredded lettuce.

    Recipe #95548

I've been making this recipe on an off for years. First found it on the back of a tortilla packet. I've tweaked it a few times now. If you want you can add a small can of chicken, or a cooked chicken breast shredded up. I've done this and it goes well. I use Texas Red Enchilada Sauce Recipe #42094.

    Recipe #93850

From "Country Fair Cookbook" which has blue ribbon winning recipes from all over America prior to 1975.

    Recipe #218688

This recipe showed up on my FB newsfeed (shared from Just Recipes https://www.facebook.com/JustRecipes1?ref=stream). Doesn't seem to be submitted here yet. I am going to try this with buttermilk instead of milk.

    Recipe #498441

From "Country Fair Cookbook" published in 1975. I use butter instead of shortening.

    Recipe #218685

My friend gave me this easy peach (any fruit) cobbler recipe

    Recipe #498402

This is in 500 Low Carb Recipes, it's similar to another Crustless Pizza on here but it has no breadcrumbs. Next time I will use a high quality hamburger as I used one with more fat content and it shrunk significantly. For sugar free pizza sauce I combined tomato paste with some chicken stock to a consistency thinner than paste and thicker than spaghetti sauce, I added salt, italian seasoning and garlic powder to taste.

    Recipe #448510

This recipe comes from The Amish Cook's Baking Book. This recipe has been no fail for me several times. Easy to work with and taste's wonderful.

    Recipe #498443

Adding this to make in the future when I need oyster sauce. Many store bought sauces have nasty additives that our family avoids. This recipe was submitted by Rachel Monk to the website www.life123.com. You can substitute the fresh oysters with 250g prepacked oysters (shucked and in liquid)

    Recipe #499790

My take on a pumpkin pie filling

    Recipe #499775

This is my version of curry. I don't usually measure when I cook my own recipes so please keep that in mind with regards to measurements. UPDATE: I now have a multi-cooker that has a pressure cooking feature. I use this to cook my curry and the meat becomes so tender.

    Recipe #345736

Tonight I had nothing thawed so I pulled out some fish fillets and put this together. I was suprised how yummy it turned out. The stir fry veges I used had beans, broccoli, cauliflower, baby corn, capsicum (red bell pepper) and pinapple. If your stir fry veges don't have the capsicum and pinapple I highly suggest adding some in, they may contribute to the flavor.

    Recipe #500222

From Tyler Florence's program, Tyler's Ultimate. This looks so good I just had to write it down so I can make it! Key points, he uses milk soaked fresh white bread. Dried breadcrumbs just don't make a nice meatball because they soak up moisture. He specifies San Marzano Plum/Italian Tomatoes for the sauce and uses a food mill to puree the tomatoes and seive the seeds out at the same time.

    Recipe #348024

I wanted some fish chowder utilising the fish I buy regularly, Basa, it's economical. I also wanted to use something other than white potato. I used swede/rutabaga. I think the variations here could include adding 1/2 cup frozen corn kernels or peas. Add these in with the veges at the beginning to ensure they are thorougly cooked. You can omit the bacon if you wish.

    Recipe #499765

I just put this together and totally wowed myself and DH (he's pretty picky)! Didn't expect it to turn out so good. Thought I better put it down right away. I hope it turns out for you as well as it did for me. (And I hope I can repeat it!) I've put the steps and ingredients in the order that I put them in when making it... and since I was creating it as I went along may seem in an odd order. Next time I will try using tofu instead of chicken and maybe some fresh coriander. Please let me know what you think!!

    Recipe #301254

This is how I made my last lasagna and it turned out pretty well. I used a mix of pork and lamb mince. I think it is so much better the next day. So make it ahead and partially cook it, so that it doesn't over cook while re-heating it.
