Someone asked me the other day how I made hot wings. Didn't have a printed recipe, just always did the same sort of stuff. Had to sit down and work it out. Here's the recipe. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Note that I put the minimum marinating time in with the prep time.
This is one of my favorite quick and easy meals. It's also versatile because you just use whatever veggies that you have on hand. Yummy! Good for dieters too - makes it easier to get your veggies into a fast meal.
As soon as I saw the ingredient list for RSC #3, I saw this recipe in my mind. I was soooo excited that I couldn't wait to try out my idea. This is a very old family recipe. These are light - kind of taste like a cross between a potato pancake and a doughnut. Could also be served with powdered sugar instead of the syrup if you wanted. Just plain, old-fashioned German comfort food.
This is a low fat version of scones that is very tasty. If you can't find the dried plum puree at your store, combine 8 oz pitted dried plums with 6 Tbsp water in blender, processing until smooth. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 months. 1 serving = 2 Starch, 1 Fruit
