This is my alternative to good ole biscuits and gravy. I am a personal chef and my customers request this frequently. I usually top it with a fried free range egg. To make this low fat, use low fat half and half and lean turkey sausage. I also use sweet potato starch as my thickening agent. I use all organic ingredients whenever possible!

    Recipe #486708

This recipe is modification of good ole rice and meat stuffed peppers. I have been trying to take old favorites and make them healthier but not compromising on taste. It seems like a lot of steps, but it really isn't bad! I always have everything cooking at the same time. Also, you can always subsitute ground beef or left over roast beef for the sausage. I am fortunate enough to have access to fresh sausage from a local farmer so it is super lean. I hope you enjoy! **I couldn't post one of the ingredients- I use Harvest Grain Blend from Trader Joe's instead of plain couscous... It is a blend of coucous, orzo, quinoa, and lentils... If you can get it or somethinf similar- try it!

    Recipe #476831

This recipe is quick and easy. You can use anything in it that you really enjoy! Make it in either muffin tins (spray non-stick spray) or I use silicone muffin cups on a cookie sheet. A great way to use leftover ham, bacon, sausage, steak and small amounts of fresh veggies! We have made several variations. I will post my favorite!

    Recipe #475848

Slow cooker beef brisket (or any cut of beef or pork loin/roast). I have used this method for years with several variations.... Use the seasonings that you enjoy.... Liquid smoke or Worcestershire Sauce depending on what you like. Most importantly is the method. Wrap tightly in 2 layers of foil and do not add any liquid!

    Recipe #475847

This is a great recipe side dish. It can be made in 2 versions, healthy and slightly indulgent! Both are always a hit!

    Recipe #474768

Super easy recipe. Now, it is perfect for those of us who like salty and savory tastes. This is always a hit for cookouts! Grill over charcoal for best flavor but gas is fine too!
