Got this recipe from another website and posting here for safekeeping and an upcoming Octoberfest potluck. The reviews on the other website said to use a very spicy mustard (like w/ horseradish) to compete with the sweetness of the brown sugar. Cut in small pieces for appetizers or large pieces for serving as a main dish.

This is my cousins recipe. It's easily halved or doubled and is good left over. While not a huge pimento fan I think this ingredient is what makes this casserole so good.

    Recipe #417478

Found this in Fix It and Forget About It 2009. Haven't tried it yet.

    Recipe #396426

This is my aunt's recipe and I am posting here for safe keeping. It's a really good and adaptable recipe.

I literally threw this together while cleaning out the frig. I was pleased with the results. The ingredients are approximate since I didn't stop to measure during my cleaning/cooking frenzy! After placing in oven I was worried the evoo may be too much with the cheese but it was not greasy. Servings and portions really depend on the size of the zucchini. My zucchini I guess was about 4 cups. I used 1/2 cup mex blend cheese that Zaar doesn't recognize as an ingredient.

Salty and sweet.....creamy and crunchy! I used store bought red pepper jelly. Would probably be great with homemade jelly.

I tested this on my family last Thanksgiving. They have requested it this year too. I got the base recipe from another website but added and deleted some of the ingredients to my taste. I like it because it's a bit different from the traditional casserole.

    Recipe #48007

My friend was battling the mouth sores caused by chemo. This was her grandmothers recipe and something she could tolerate eating during chemo. She liked it with mashed potatoes and biscuits. The biscuits give it a dumpling flavor.

I got this recipe from a caterer. She said only cream of chicken works well with this. I experimented with wild rice once and thought it was too bland. This goes great with the basics such as a green salad and hot rolls. Prep time includes cooking meat and rice simultaneously.

I got this recipes from another website. It is very good and easy to prepare. I tried it once with canned chicken and bacon bits and didn't like the substitutions. I have used marinated artichoke heart and loved it.

Ghost cookies. I saw these in a ladies magazine and thought they were so cute. I haven't tried them yet so let me know how you like them.

Good ole Mom has perfected this over the years. This is the one dish the entire family likes. It is simple and smells wonderful while simmering.

These look like mini haystacks thus the name. Kids and adults love them. Very "Harvesty" when served on dish with the mini pumpkins or candy corn, etc.

I helped a friend move and let this cook while we were unpacking her kitchen, etc. It was easy to travel with and the hungry movers gobbled it up!

Love this recipe because it's so easy and feeds a crowd. Is also a good leftover.
