This is one of my favorite Faye Levy recipes.

A great tasting potato salad with no mayonnaise. Very Greek, makes you want to break plates and drink ouzo.

Most of the breakfast burrito recipes I've seen out there have sausage in them. I just can't eat meat in the morning, so I've come up with this version. Simple and yummy.

A very filling and low-fat breakfast, perfect for those crisp fall days.

Very easy and delicious. There's a great hint in here how to take the bitterness out of raw onions and still leave them crisp for the salad.

This is a delicious and different way to make couscous. For more of a bite, try using diced tomatoes with green chiles.

This is in response to a recipe request, although I think I've fallen in love with the ingredients! I can't wait to try out this cake, the combination of cream cheese and Mascarpone sounds heavenly! Prep time includes chill time, and the only cook time is to bake the crumb crust.

A yummy and simple dish that is still impressive. You can use as many garlic cloves as you like, less if you have a problem with garlic, more if you are allergic to vampires.

This is a simple recipe and posted per recipe request. The recipe doesn't state if you should peel and core the pears before cooking them, I would definitely not skip this step, I think the pear peels would make some pretty gritty preserves.

This is one of our favorite Rosh Hashana dishes, I make it every fall and for our family it completely symbolizes autumn. You can bake the chicken as per the recipe, or you can also grill it over coals, it gives it a really special flavor.

This is in response to a recipe request. I can get matbucha from my local supermarket any day, but now that I have a recipe it should be simple to make it myself, and alter it to my tastes.

Perfect party food, or good for a brunch. This is an adaptation of an Ann Hodgman recipe, who adapted it from Sarah Leah Chase. It's very simple to put together, but very fancy to eat. Prep time includes chill time.

I can barely keep a pecan in this house, the minute anyone in my family smells that I have brought home pecans they go after it with their built-in pecan detectors. However, if I announce that I am making these spiced vanilla pecans they actually manage to restrain themselves, but barely, until the pecans are ready, and then they fall upon them like a pack of dogs. These are great for parties, although no matter how much you make they will never be enough. You should start making them the day before you plan to serve them. Prep time includes wait time.

I always feel guilty about throwing away leftover bread. I once tried leaving it out for the birds, but my cat thought that was a good way to bait them, and then, well, poor birdies. This makes a very yummy light lunch or snack. If you have some really great bread and some really great cheese, you've got yourself a gourmet dish.

Super easy and super yummy. It's served frozen, so it's a good treat on a hot summer's day!

This makes a HUGE amount of dip, perfect for a party. It's very addictive, I've know people to ladle this out onto their plates, as if it were the main course and not the dip. I usually make the bean and guacamole layers the night before and assemble the total dip right before people show up.
