This recipe is from a Penzey's catalog. Haven't tried it yet, but it sounds good!

    Recipe #507736

I have been looking for a recipe for these delicate little sandwich cookies for a long time, after being spoiled by the Luxemburgerli from Sprungli in Zurich. My sister gave this recipe to me, it's from a magazine. Haven't tried it yet, but plan to soon!

    Recipe #507722

This is from a free Penzey's recipe card and uses their Balti seasoning, which is a mixture of spices reminiscent of curry powder, sweet and a little hot. Feel free to use your own spices. I have not tried this recipe yet, but am typing it here for safekeeping.

    Recipe #506736

This is from a free Penzey's recipe card. I haven't tried it yet, but am typing it here for safekeeping.

    Recipe #506735

This recipe was in a holiday celebration coupon and recipe booklet from my local grocery store. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds really good!

    Recipe #491538

This recipe came from a newspaper (most likely the Los Angeles Times) many years ago, as the clipping is quite old! I've never made it, but it sounds good and is different from other posted recipes.

    Recipe #480314

This recipe was from a magazine, but I slightly changed the ingredients and the instructions. We are not fans of green peppers, but this was delicious! We served it with steamed white rice. Definitely added to the favorites file.

    Recipe #474039

This recipe started out as recipe #139975, but I have completely changed the proportions of ingredients and instructions to suit my family's preferences, so this version is different than the original. This is a beautiful ruby color and has a complex taste that is much more than the sum of the 2 ingredients. This is a family favorite. Enjoy!

    Recipe #471019

These are cream puffs with a chocolate filling and a buttery thick frosting. While recently on vacation in Oahu, we had these at the Liliha Bakery. They are famous for these and sell 5000 a day! Upon arriving home, I looked for a recipe, and pieced this one together from 3 different recipes, recipe #209826 for the choux pastry, recipe #65220 for the chocolate pastry cream filling, and a recipe that was given to me for the chantilly frosting. These are a little bit of work, but the filling and frosting can be made ahead. Absolutely delicious and worth the effort, transports me back to Hawaii! Cooling and assembly time not included in total time.

    Recipe #459927

From the August issue of Family Circle magazine. I haven't tried this recipe yet, but it received very good reviews in the magazine. Any kind of fruit may be used.

    Recipe #440694

This started out as recipe #305652, but I have changed it around quite a bit to suit my family's preferences, so decided to post this version so I don't have to remember all my changes / additions every time I make it! This recipe is a great way to use up leftover beef or chicken. Sirloin steak is really good for this. Add in your favorite vegetables. Needs to marinade for 1-3 days.

    Recipe #426616

Taken from the magazine section of the 2/7/10 Sunday newspaper. I haven't made this yet, but it sounds yummy!

    Recipe #412284

My sister got this recipe from a woman's magazine. She made it over the holidays and they were yummy, so I'm typing it in for safekeeping.

    Recipe #410208

A family favorite, I took bits and pieces from several recipes and tweaked it to our preferences. The first time I made this, I used the juice of 2 lemons, which was not enough, and probably 1 cup of brown sugar or a bit more, which was about right. In addition to the lemon juice, I added a bit of cider vinegar as well - the soup needed more of a sour taste. Turned out great!

    Recipe #409336

This recipe started out as another 'Zaar recipe, but I have made so many changes to it that I am posting my version. This turns out fantastic every time! We love chicken with green salsa and enchilada sauce, or ground beef with red salsa and enchilada sauce. You can use leftover meat, cut into bite-sized pieces. This dish can also be assembled beforehand and stored covered in the refrigerator until ready to cook. Serve with sour cream on the top, this really takes it to the next level! Enjoy!

    Recipe #407881

This recipe came from a package of ground lamb I bought at the grocery store. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds good!

    Recipe #405692

My sister found this recipe on the back of a bag of cappuccino chips. We haven't made it yet, but it sounds yummy, so I am posting it for safekeeping.

    Recipe #382446

My sister found this recipe on the back of a bag of cappuccino chips. They are very good, like macaroons. I am sure they would be great with other flavors of chips as well. Make sure to line the cookie sheets, as they will stick.

    Recipe #382445

My mom gave me this recipe from a cooking magazine that she subscribes to. I changed it around slightly to suit my family's preferences. It was really good and I would definitely make it again!

    Recipe #365941

My mom clipped this recipe out of either a newspaper or magazine. It is different than other red velvet cake recipes I have seen because it contains sour cream. I have tried several recipes for red velvet cake in the past, but this one is by far the best and is my new favorite. Enjoy!
