Came up with this slow-cooker recipe to combine elements of various soup recipes that seemed interesting. The results were tasty and nutritious. This recipe was made in a 6-quart crockpot, and is sized to fit it. If starting with dried beans, like I did, cook overnight on low in your slow cooker. I used great northern beans in this recipe.

Hearty and delicious and easy to prepare. Serve with rice cooked in veggie or chicken broth.

Just a really easy experimental dish that turned out well.

This recipe is for a vegetarian quiche, but you can easily adapt it to a vegan version, or use meat to make it non-veggie. My whole family loved this, and they don't normally like quiche very much. I served it with a wild & long grain rice cooked with dried cranberries, and some carrots and peas.

It's been so hot the past few days I've been trying to keep cooking to a minimum. I came up with this pasta salad to put some garden herbs and veggies and ones I had in the refrigerator to use.

A nice, flavorful fish recipe. You could probably substitute the salmon with another kind of fish if you'd like. Note: prep time does not include time for marinating fish.

    An easy, comforting vegetarian dish.

Another 'creation,' inspired by a cabinet full of Asian sauces and spices.

Came up with this pasta recipe from leftovers in an act of lunchtime desperation! Hope you enjoy. If you can't find the sambal oelek, you could substitute chili flakes. Sambal oelek can usually be found in the asian grocery.

I used to love this Chinese-restaurant appetizer so much that my mother reverse-engineered the recipe. These dumplings have an interesting taste and are great for parties. They also freeze well. Hope you enjoy them--it's worth the work involved.
