A simple, yet tasty quiche. Easy to make and easy to vary in all sorts of ways. Add any vegetables you like. Substitute pork with chicken. Add garlic to the dough. Add parmesan cheese to the egg mixture. Go for it! Can also be served cold.
Note that I make double the dough I need, as I like a thin pastry. You can use all the dough, but remember to stick with a fork or precook in the oven without the filling if you do!
With a good cooking pumpkin and some simple additions, this soup is great. If you want it more filling, you might just serve bread on the side, or butter/margarine-fried croutons (or oil-fried)
Can also be served as a starter for a larger meal.
A simple-to-make stew that freezes well and tastes even better reheated. Probably because of the pepper-corns giving off more taste then.
I have made a video of the preparation of this dish, and that can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw6B76PqdRU
This is a recipe from a Norwegian cooking club I was a member of, but I have altered it slightly. These potatoes go excellently with salmon or other fish. If you don't have cute little new potatoes, you can slice or cube normal potatoes.
The preparation time is a bit long, but these are yummy and can be varied with the ingredients you have at hand.
I always make "too much" of the veg mixture, since I love combining the hot cooked taste with the uncooked crispy mixture.
