I love to camp and fish in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. This is a very easy camp side fish recipe or can be prepared after you get home. You can also adapt this for the oven and for any other type of fish. Add or subtract ingredients for your own tastes. I have also used sunflower seeds and raisins for something different. My family loves this fish over a campfire. Clean up is
I found a version of this in reader's digest many years ago. I have since revised it to my own tastes so many times that I no longer even remember what the original recipe was anymore. I love it very spicy so I use extra hot sauce at the table. Tabasco is my preferred brand but Frank's isn't too bad. Just not as spicy but with very good flavor.
Quick and easy meal when your in a hurry. I know the idea of cranberries and BBQ sauce together does not sound very good but these 2 flavors really do compliment each other in this recipe. I have also used pork when making this dish.
I love these cookies. It's hard to stop eating them so make a double batch. They make impressive gifts as well. If you have any filling left over, you can refrigerate and use it warmed up over ice cream.
Spicy Mexican quiche. This is the recipe that I first came to Recipezaar to find. I requested the recipe, but no one could help me, so I made it up from memory in order to take it to a dinner party my friend was having. Sometime later, after my cookbooks were out of storage, I was able to locate the original recipe. This is pretty darn close.
Convenient 1 pan meal. I found this recipe in an old cookbook along time ago. Kids love it! The original was not as spicy as I make it but I like the flavor better with the added ingredients. To make it even spicier, add some jalapeños instead of the green chili. I also add frozen corn once in awhile.
