OK so I work in the seafood dept of a Dillons' in Lawrence Ks and I make this spread at work to sample out the different flavors of salmon we cook. I'm always being asked to write the recipe down, so I figured I'd share it with you all also since I'm typing up recipe cards for it. Anyhow, just a reminder you can use smoked salmon also and this spread makes about 40 oz. To cut this recipe down and make it thicker, leave everything the same except the salmon and the sour cream. Make sure you lessen them in equal parts. Also I use leftover cold cooked salmon in my dip when smoked salmon is not readily available so the dip tastes a little different every time due to the spices used to cook the fish in. So this is just a basic and adjust horseradish to your own taste. I don't use a lot of it.

    Recipe #338539

This morning my son and I argued over whether he was having egg, cereal or marshmallows for breakfast LOL. So I prepped the pan with butter to make the eggs. My newborn started to cry so I went to go get her. By the time I was back my DS had put 1/2 of a bag of marshmallows in the buttered pan. Instead of getting mad, I just laughed. He really wanted marshmallows for breakfast I guess. So this is what I came up with to compromise the whole ordeal (I'll remember next time to put the marshmallows on the top shelf though :) ).

I grew up on these pickles being made once a year. Being canned, these pickles take two weeks to make but are so worth it. After my grandfather died in 1996, there were enough pickles canned to last two more years. After that, there weren't made any more. My grandmother said she had lost the recipe and even if she had it there was no one to help her make them anymore. Going through her recipe book, what did I find? It was my grandfather's recipe! I'm proud to be able to share it with you. If you like sweet pickles, you're going to just die when you taste these.

    Recipe #233110

I found this recipe hand written in one of my grandmother's cookbooks. She said it was a recipe her sister had written down in the book in the early 60's, but grandma never made because she thought she had lost it. The recipe calls for a # 2 1/2 can of whole tomatoes. I'm not sure what size that is but I think it's the large can so the tomato oz is guess. Servings are a guess also.

    Recipe #222319

I just found this recipe in my journal from 2002. It was a party drink that everyone had to help make and made the party a little more interactive. You will need a large cotton towel and a gallon-size clean pickle jar. The kind of ice you use is up to you, but we got our bag from the Sonic fast food restaurant cause they have more of a crushed type ice and made the drink last longer. This takes some WORK--remember if they don't help shake they don't get any! Also the ice amount is guesstimated; it didn't use the whole bag.

    Recipe #214098

this is a nice cold drink on a hot summer night

    Recipe #214093

This is a sweet roll up its very easy to make and enjoy. In this recipe I used 1/2 of the dough from Recipe #40633. The other half of the dough I made the rolls with--but it works out to about loaf of bread dough. The syrup is guesstimated because I used the squeeze bottle. The preserves are best if you make sure there are not chunks of berries in them. And make sure you have some flour on hand to help prevent the dough from sticking.
