I love cheesecake and make many different varieties, but this is my basic go to recipe. There are many variations around but this is the one I like best. Always, KISS THE COOK!

    Recipe #250857

This crust combines walnuts, cinnamon, and butter. This crust works well with all sorts of pies from vanilla cream to pumpkin. It also works well with fruit pies with precooked fillings. Since it is a crumbly crust, it even works well as a crust for a cheesecake.

    Recipe #144053

This recipe uses fresh strawberries but frozen strawberries work fine too. It has a crust of graham cracker crumbs but a nut crumb crust and a crust made from crushed vanilla wafers would work well also. By the way, you can use raspberries, blueberries, peaches, mangoes, or other fruit for the topping. You will need a nine or ten-inch springform pan for this recipe.

this is made with reduced-fat ingredients. Always KISS THE COOK!!

This is one way I use up the leftover pork and sauerkraut from the night before. The apple and brown sugar gives it a nice flavor. Amounts are estimated.
