Fast, easy, creamy, and cheesy! A great weeknight meal when you want something that will stick to your ribs but don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I found this recipe in my mom's recipe collection after she passed away and we love it! The recipe is very forgiving if you need to sub ingredients based on what you have on hand. Don't have broth? Use the potato cooking liquid with a tsp of chicken bouillon mixed in. No heavy cream? No worries, use all milk. I make a lot of soup when the weather turns cold and you know what they say about Wisconsin.... we have 2 seasons, Winter and Road Construction... we eat a lot of soup- LOL :)

I love King Arthur's Everything Bread and Bagel Topping so I decided to try and make my own. We love this on loaves of homemade Wheat Bread.

A creamy, cheesy, treasure of a find from the American Heart Association's cookbook. Traditionally we would think of this as a side dish, but at 396 calories per serving I wanted to make sure this recipe would fill us up without having to add large servings of meat or bread. It did! We like it served with 1/2 of a small grilled/broiled chicken breast and steamed veggies, but shrimp would also be a nice accompaniment. I am in constant search of low-fat, heart healthy recipes that actually fill us up. So often we find recipes listed as "low-fat" or "heart healthy" and the serving size is so small a person walks away from the table hungry or we are deceived by the words "low-fat" and eat 4x what the recommended portion size is defeating the original intent. This filling dish generously serves 4. We also like a tsp or so of onion powder added to the cheese mixture. If you are not on a sodium restricted diet, feel free to add salt to taste. The recipezaar database doesn't seem to recognize the yolk free egg noodles or low sodium worcestershire sauce so I will list the Nutrition Values as stated by the AHA. Calories 396, Total Fat 3.0 g, Sat Fat 1.0 g, Poly 0.5 g, Mono 0.5 g, Sodium 389 mg, Cholesterol 21 mg, Carbs 64 g, Protein 23 g, Fiber 3 g, Sugars 10 g. Delicious Semmels easily made with your stand mixer. These have a wonderful crisp and chewy crust. Great for sandwiches or burgers hot off the grill. Fabulous with butter while still warm. :) This recipe is more of a hamburger/ sandwich bun vs a dinner roll. I suppose you could make them smaller but would need to adjust baking time. I found this recipe duplicated on several websites so I am not sure exactly who to credit it to. I made several changes to the original recipe to suit our taste. The recipe calls for 1/4 ounce of yeast but I often add an additional tsp of yeast if I am going to use all of the flour. I can usually tell by the weather if I am going to need all of the flour (damp, humid).

While similar in ingredients to other recipes posted, I didn't find one that was exactly the same. This recipe came with my Kitchen Aid Ice Cream maker and is our favorite. The Encyclopedia of American Food and Drink credits Thomas Jefferson with bringing "French-style" ice cream, made with egg yolks, to America.

This recipe is a combination of several I've tried. It's our family's favorite white bread. I use my stand mixer to make this near effortless. I hope you will enjoy it as well :)

Creamy and dreamy is how my friend Marilyn describes this recipe. A sun-shiney lemon cake that is cool and refreshing. Lemon lovers, this one's for you!

Deliciously moist loaves chocked full of goodness. Great as a snack or tucked into lunch boxes. We loved this with our morning coffee. The ingredients are most often in my pantry/fridge so I can whip this up on a whim. Enjoy!

This easy recipe is from one of my all time favorite bread making cookbooks Local Breads by Daniel Leader/ Lauren Chattman with the directions tweaked just a little. I usually double the recipe and have always had outstanding results. The dough can be refrigerated from 2-24 hours so I sometimes bake 1 batch and then save the rest of the dough for the next day so they are fresh. I mostly use the recipe to make pretzel rolls and often wrap the dough around hot dogs or sausages which are a favorite of my DS (Pretzel Dogs) *See note at bottom of instructions*. I occasionally add a little extra flour depending on the weather to get my dough as directed below. The dough should be a little moist/ sticky. Add only a tablespoon at a time if extra is needed. Please read the recipe through before starting. This recipe prints out as 2 pages for those that may want to set their print job to 2 sided :)

My dear friend Marilyn shared this recipe with me. It is a holiday favorite at her house. I did find two recipes on Zaar that were similar but omitted the mayo which is a yummy "must have ingredient" in this recipe. This recipe doubles very well.

I was reading a feature in our paper on frosting shots- yes, frosting shots! Apparently in some cities this is catching on quite fast. I clipped this recipe and have been moving it from here to there for a month. I thought I better post it for safe keeping. I personally would use this on a chocolate cake, but for the brave, pipe into small paper souffle cups and toss it back like a shot! I was able to frost a 9x13 cake and I believe this would be enough to frost 24 cupcakes or as the article stated, 30 frosting shots.

Fresh tasting and colorful. Double or triple this recipe to bring to your next family picnic or potluck. Best made 2-3 hours in advance. Cooking time includes refrigeration time. Makes a delicious side to grilled chicken or fish.

This recipe came with a Williams- Sonoma French Bread pan my In-Laws gave me for Christmas. (I have wonderful In-Laws :)) I have only tried this recipe in the specified pan and it is absolutely delicious! Crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The technique is a bit unusual compared to what I was used to, but it is well worth the effort. I don't know if it is the recipe, the technique, the pan, or a combination of all 3 that makes these loaves so tasty, but this is now my standard recipe. Just a note: This recipe prints out on 2 pages. Thought I'd mention it if you want to print 2 sided to save paper ;)

I had originally posted this recipe in combination with another I have posted. It seems the butter itself was quite a hit so I decided to post it on its own. Excellent to take camping as you can whip it up at home and have the taste of gourmet steaks fresh from the campfire.

A tasty punch you can put together with ingredients that store well until needed. Perfect for the holidays. I found this recipe in a Pampered Chef booklet purchased at a yard sale.

An excellent snack for most any occasion--holidays, camping, sporting event get togethers, lunchboxes, etc. We can't stop eating them! These make a great gift, just cut a piece of cellophane and wrap into a cone shape tied with a colorful ribbon, or place in a pretty tin. They will be appreciated.

A Middle East treat. This is a delicious nighttime beverage and can also be served over ice for a cool beverage.

A slow cooked Cuban "Beef Stew". A great way to have a hot dinner on the table with little fuss. Serve over rice or with tortillas for an easy dinner.
