    Amazing Black Bean Brownies
    Handle

I found this on the blog 101 Cookbooks by Heidi Swanson. Don't be scared by the black beans - I made this and will never go back to normal brownies again. She uses agave syrup in her recipe, but I substituted honey and was so pleased with it that I'm using it in this version.

    Homemade Crackers
    Handle

Easy, tasty crackers. Great with hummus or other dips.

    Jacques's Chocolate Mudslides
    Handle

A lady in my college's theater department made these when we had to strike the set. They were so good that I stayed for the whole time so that I could keep eating them. She recalled having found the recipe from the New York Times.

    Recipe #219345

    Select
    Poor Student Lamb Stew
    Handle

I modified another recipe so much that it's practically new. I'm living in Iceland, and lamb is the cheapest meat available (happy chance!), so I used a nice lean cut and was very pleased with it.
