From Paul Newman's "Newman's Own Cookbook". Trust me the book is worth you looking into. He states this makes a lot. That's ok. It keeps well in the refrigerator and it freezes very well too. You can split the large batch half to eat now half to freeze for later. Great on steak. Great on ribs.
Make sure you top with a salsa that has at least a bite and the yogurt [you can use sour cream also] I used it with a corn and black bean with mild peppers. This would also be good with a gravy over it. Also would sub for chinese style pancakes in recipe
The local church always has homemade ice cream at the local fairs and celebrations. The big seller is Grape-Nuts. You have to get there early if you want any of it. This is not their recipe. They won't part with it.
