A lower fat recipe for a summer classic! We love chicken salad year round and this one is truly one of our favorite recipes. It's great for croissant sandwiches or on a bed of lettuce for a great salad! Enjoy! (Does not include cook time for chicken).

    Recipe #317465

This is such a delightful after dinner cocktail. Made with Hazelnut Kahlua, Creme de Cacao and Butterscotch schnapps. It reminds me of a wonderful coffee mix I used to get from Barney's! I used dark creme de cacao but I'm sure light would work just fine! Add more half and half if you like a lighter drink. Hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #316617

Scrumptious and lower fat way to make a super flavorful side potato dish. These are simple to make and do not have butter. Using olive oil and fat free half and half cuts the calories and fat back a lot yet still gives you a full flavored dish. I usually add more of everything as we like strong flavors and lots of salt and pepper at our house so feel free to adjust this recipe to your taste!

    Recipe #315885

Another great drink to make with Cachaca! Simple, fruity and lovely!

    Recipe #315810

Moist, easy and full of summer flavors! A great recipe that will remind you a breezy night on a tropical island. This recipe is loved by all ages as it is savory yet sweet from the pineapple juice and has an almost caramel flavor from the brown sugar. Preparation time includes allowing chicken to marinate. Stevia can replace brown sugar but I do not have the correct amount needed for this. Also please note that the fat and calorie count is incorrect as you discard most of the marinade. Enjoy!

    Recipe #315217

This tastes just like grape koolaid! It's an awesome fruity drink. I made it with Limoncello but I think you could probably try a lemon flavored rum or vodka and it would be close to the same taste. Fun drink because it layers itself and then turns purple after you stir it, hence the name Electric Cool-Aid.

    Recipe #315184

This is a strong yet delicious drink. It's a sipper for me now, but in the old days I could slam 'em down!! (ha,ha). Very simple drink to make.

    Recipe #315148

A crisp and fresh martini that is simple yet elegant. A perfect pairing for a rich chocolate dessert.

    Recipe #315081

! This fruity concoction was named el Macuá, after a tropical bird found in Central America an is the Nicaraguan national drink! The drink is one part white rum, one part guava juice, with a half-portion of lemon juice and some sugar and ice. Hopefully you can use Rum from Nicaragua but since I always have Bacardi on hand, that is what I used. I wasn't able to actually find the exact amounts for this drink. All of the recipes just said equal parts etc. Adjust this if you need to but keep the portions as stated above to keep it authentic!

    Recipe #315040

While chatting with a friend about our dream of being on a tropical island drinking tropical drinks (who doesn't dream of that), we decided to try our hand at Tropical Drink Making! This one is perfect. The color reminds you of the beautiful blue Caribbean waters and the taste is fruity crisp and yes, "tropical". ENJOY!

Using a high quality of smoked salmon will be well worth it in this easy and delicious brunch or breakfast dish! Please use fresh dill if at all possible! One of my very favorite egg dishes for breakfast.

    Recipe #314529

Watch out for the falling coconuts! Licor 43 is my new favorite liquore! It has such a wonderful rich, smooth vanilla flavor. With 43 ingredients it just has to be wonderful! This is a fruit yet smooth drink that's perfect for a hot summer evening.

    Recipe #314500

A very easy recipe if you have pesto already made! I'm always looking for ways to use zucchini this time of year as the garden always over produces! This made a very large amount of pasta and there still wasn't any left. Everyone took seconds but me... I think you could use many different types of veggies and cheeses in this recipe and it would be just as good. You can also use other pastas such as bow ties or fusilli. I used what was either in the garden or right in the front of the fridge. I used a prebaked acorn squash that I'd planned to use for another recipe and it added a very wonderful nutty flavor to the dish.

    Recipe #314446

In a search for a healthier way to cook those delicious green beans like my grandmother made I devised a recipe that will almost fool you! Of course you can always throw in some salt pork or bacon if you aren't watching your fat intake. These really are delicious and there's never a bean left in the bottom of the pot. The prep time included prepping the green beans.

    Recipe #314383

This is a great seasoning for many different dishes! I use this on homefries as well as roasted potatoes, zucchini and many other vegetables. It's great for a meat and vegetable kabob as well. Those little fairies like to sprinkle it on many of the dishes that come out of my kitchen....

    Recipe #314292

The essence of comfort! I've never had anyone say they didn't LOVE this pie. What's not to love? Everything you could dream of for a luscious dessert treat. Although the directions look long, this is a simple dessert recipe with a very special reward; it's delicious!!!

    Recipe #314286

Chicken and rice in a zippy sauce. A complete meal ready in no time. We love this with guacamole, sour cream and fresh tortillas! A bed of shredded lettuce adds to the complete meal.

    Recipe #314284

Blackberries are in season and I just HAD to make an attempt to make a mojito with them. It took a couple of tries but I think this is a hit at my house!

    Recipe #314283

Makes an incredibly tasty Margarita as well as many other wonderful drinks. Lends itself to a more tropical style drink. Great shooter as well!

    Recipe #314282

The latest liqueur to hit the market is Licor 43. The history of Licor 43 has been very secretive but knowing that it has 43 ingredients is obvious. This is an exotic cocktail that is sure to please. Raspberry flavored vodka can be substituted. It's definitely a crowd pleaser!
