Saw this today and thought it sounded great. From Joy of Kosher.

    Recipe #510651

My husband described what he wanted and everyone loved it. It was a quick and easy dinner.

    Recipe #510326

From Jewish Cooking Boot Camp by Andrea Marks Carneiro & Roz Marks. "This recipe takes the sweet flavor out of kugel and replaces it with a more savory taste..." This is a kosher dairy dish.

    Recipe #411863

I just had this brisket last night and had to get the recipe. It was delicious. Laura got it from a cooking class she took at King's Cooking Studio. For the tomato sauce, she uses Rao's brand. If carrots are desired, add when meat goes into the oven. If potatoes are desired, add to the meat halfway through cooking time. This freezes well.

    Recipe #407721

It's from Mark Bittman from the New York Times circa 1990's. Twenty minutes, tops. From Lizzy to me! She used dried basil- it's all she had.

    Recipe #395624

Posted by Anna Bongiorno in Cuisine By the Sea, The Avon School. I found this book sale and want to make this recipe from it someday. It didn't say how long to bake but I will guess 30 minutes, it merely says to bake until golden brown.

I don't want to lose this! From Lynne Rossetto Kasper's email. Sounds interesting and it's grilling season!

I ripped this from a Thanksgiving book. The book said " today we store blueberries in the refrigerator or freezer. In the 1620's, Americans dried berries to preserve them for winter. The Pilgrims referred to these little, round, blue skinned berries as whortleberries or billberries...often Native Americans rehydrated or plumped up their dried berries by soaking them in hot water for 15 minutes before serving." This could be a healthy snack or a nice add in for a salad or for whatever you can think of.

    Recipe #380061

No honey or sugar-simple grilled recipe with stove top onion preparation. From a NJ magazine.

    Recipe #377425

Different from the others posted here. This recipe doesn't contain Jello but does have cream cheese, sugar, sour cream, vanilla extract, whipped topping (like Cool Whip), fresh strawberries and prepared graham cracker pie crust. I don't want to lose it and will make it soon. This requires 4 hours chilling time. This is from Parade magazine, June 14th, 2009

    Recipe #377074

From Michael Antonasio, the manager of Food & Nutrition for Overlook Hospital, Summit, NJ.

    Recipe #376803

From Real Simple on line. Don't want to lose it because it sounds good. Heart healthy, quick and easy. * Tip: taste the peas before making the salad. It they're not as sweet as you'd like, steam them for a minute or two, then run them under cold water. This will help bring out their natural sugars and make them more tender.

This is from the Art of Hungarian Cooking, Ladies Auxiliary, New Brunswick, NJ, 1955.

    Recipe #376203

Created by football analyst, world championship quarterback and restaurateur Joe Theismann on behalf of Kingsford Charcoal, September 2007. I found it in NJ Family Magazine on their website.

    Recipe #375512

Reprinted with permission from The Popcorn Board, popcorn.org., January 2007, I found it in the NJ Family Magazine website. I haven't made this but it was so unusual sounding and may be low carb which is good for my DH. Here for safe keeping.

    Recipe #375485

From South of the Fork, Jr. League of Dallas. Here for safe keeping.

Veronica Karlan, my parents' friend, is a lovely Hungarian woman who graciously sent me her recipe when I told her I like to cook! I was salivating when she was describing this dish! Serve with dumplings, mashed potatoes or orzo. I have made this with egg noodles too. * Easy on the paprika as it can be quite piquant. I may double the sauce because I like a lot of sauce.

    Recipe #370861

I bought a cookbook at a rummage sale and inside the book was a hand written recipe card for coleslaw- It was written on a card that said "A Taste of Wrightsville Beach" and was written by Susette, who wrote "Tom's favorite" on the back. By the way, Wrightsville Beach is in North Carolina. I had never heard of it before but you learn something new every day. This sounds very good and I wanted to share.

    Recipe #369154
