This recipe was given to my mother many years ago and it still remains a favorite with family and friends. I've shared it with so many, so figured it was time I shared it with all of you. It's very easy, and the simple ingredients are pretty much pantry staples. This recipe makes 1 cup of sauce, but it's very easy to double the recipe. Wonderful on any chicken, pork, beef, seafood or rice dish. Any leftover sauce stores well covered in the fridge, but I rarely keep it very long, since we always find something to use it on or dunk in it, LOL.

These are wonderful served with soups and we especially love them with potato soup and chili's. They are so easy to make, you could also make them to be enjoyed as a snack and I'm often asked to make them when we have oyster roasts and low country boils and invite friends over. You can kick up the level of heat by the amount of cayenne pepper you choose to add. Each recipe makes about 2 dozen small biscuts, so I usually make two recipes...one with the cayenne, and one without. We first tasted these at a little restaurant in Brunswick, Ga. that served them along with their soup and salad bar. I asked for the recipe and the owner wrote it down for me. That was about 8 years ago. The restaurant was bought by someone else a few years later and they stopped serving these little gems. LOL, we haven't been back.

There are alot of recipes for French Dip Sandwiches using the crockpot, but this one is our favorite. It's a Judy Byrd recipe found on the Familynet website. We like these sandwiches on toasted hoagie rolls and topped with sliced provolone and seasoned steak fries.

This is the meatloaf my mom made and it was always one of her most requested recipes. I'm not sure if it's one of her recipes or not, since she was always clipping recipes from magazines and newpapers. It's still a big hit with family and friends and remains one of my most requested recipes. My hubby is a hunter, so I do make it with ground vension and vension sausage and it's wonderful. You can also make meatballs with the meat mixture and brown them in a skillet, pop them in a crockpot with spaghetti sauce and it's great served over pasta. The meatballs also make a wonderful appetizer served with your favorite sweet & sour or BBQ sauce. Any leftover meatloaf or meatballs make a mean sandwich the next day as well. I usually make two recipes and bake both loaves on a large baking sheet so I have enough for sandwiches the next day, LOL.

This pancake recipe has become one of our favorites, not only because of how great they taste, but also because we make the batter the night before and it's ready to go the next morning. The grandboy's love these pancakes topped with apple pie filling with a touch of cinnamon mixed in before warming in the microwave. Note: Prep time does not include overnight setting time.
