This is pretty much what I saw Jillian show the last four girls how to prepare a delicious, low-calorie fish dinner. It turned out quite well. She never specified what kind of fish, so I just picked up a box of blue haddock (unbreaded) filets from Schwans and tried that. It did look white, so I'm sure you can vary depending on your preference.
I know it sounds weird, and maybe not very yummy, but I promise if you try it, you will LOVE it and use it again and again. It's awesome because it adds 13 grams of fiber to your diet so you practically burn everything you eat! We all know what high fiber does to you!
Okay-I am NOT a vegetable person, but have made a lifestyle change to eat healthier and LOSE weight! So far, it has been 4 weeks and I have lost 13 pounds so it appears to be working. I experimented a little with some veggies and found a recipe I really like and actually eact seconds on and sometimes even CRAVE. Yup, CRAVE. This coming from an avid Veggie hater!
I have tried several variations of dump cake and made up my own one day when I needed some comfort! ;) This one is by far the favorite of anyone I have served it to. I make several different flavors and fillings at work potlucks and since I made this one, that is all everyone requests! Once you make it, you'll know why, just make sure you have your favorite vanilla ice cream on hand to go along with it. :)
I am a mother of 3 young toddlers and LOVE to cook, but don't always have the time for lengthy preparation. I do, however expect the same taste! I look for and create easy recipes that taste magnifico! This is one of my favorites!
***I HAVE RECENTLY ALTERED RECIPE FOR LOWER FAT/CALORIES. IT STILL TASTES GREAT, I ALSO REMOVED THE CORIANDER SINCE SOME PEOPLE WERE NOT FOND OF THAT FLAVOR. PERFECTO!
