I make this while the oven preheats, totally convenience items that are always on hand. This meal takes maybe 20 minutes start to finish at my house. I use petite diced tomatoes in a glass jar from Del Monte that are seasoned with oregano, garlic, and basil. However any petite diced or diced canned tomatoes will work, look for ones with italian seasonings. If the diced tomatoes are large chop them roughly or use kitchen shears to hack them up a little. Sometimes I sprinkle with italian seasoning or parmesan cheese before baking, depending on how hungry we are!

    Recipe #235302

This is easy kid-friendly comfort food thats great for using up leftover turkey or chicken. Serve it with some bread and veggies. I make it fairly bland for my kids, so taste and salt and pepper whenever needed.

    Recipe #232472

A comforting dish that my husband and kids always love. This freezes and reheats great. Prepare the rice and chicken before hand. For the chicken, I usually marinate the breasts in teriyaki sauce for some extra flavor. The rice should be stored in a large ziplock bag in the fridge until cold before starting the fried rice. When making rice for a meal earlier in the week be sure to make extra. Or keep a ziplock in the freezer and anytime you get take-out throw the box of white rice into the freezer bag until you have enough.

    Recipe #229074

They serve this in the cafeteria at work and it is the most requested. It is a very hearty and yet low-calorie meal. This recipe makes 8 cups so is great for OAMC, make ahead of time and serve over fresh rice. 1 cup of soup is about 150 calories and 1 cup of rice is approx 200 depending on the type. We usually use a wild rice blend.

This was on the news as a way to fire proof your childrens' Halloween costumes, which are notoriously flammable. This recipe is from Washington Hospital Center.

    Recipe #191375

This is a wonderful tart/sweet pie. It is amazingly easy and quick to make this from-scratch pie. Use a store bought pie crust for convenience. It needs to chill in the fridge at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. I usually try to have my meringue going while the filling is cooking so that it will be ready while the filling is still nice and hot so it doesn't seperate, but not too soon so it doesn't weep. Sometimes I make it and sometimes I don't, but either way its an amazingly delicious pie.

    Recipe #180727

    Sounds great!
