This is part of a salad recipe that was in Family Circle Magazine. I am also posting the salad recipe. It is called Shrimp Deviled Egg Salad. The deviled eggs are great in the salad, yet good enough to eat all by themselves.

    Recipe #129537

This is a modified version of a recipe in Family Circle Magazine. The original recipe calls for 1/2 cup of pine nuts. I don't care for them so I used a can of cannellini beans instead. I also added a little more cheese than the original recipe.

    Recipe #129532

My mother made this clam dip every New Year's Eve. It's a family favorite.

    Recipe #128941

Another recipe from a co-worker. It's peanut butter and powdered sugar coated Chex cereal. This makes a tasty party snack, especially if you're a peanut butter lover.

    Recipe #128930

This is a recipe I got from a co-worker. It's a nice cool dessert for summertime. It's also easily put together!

    Recipe #128918

This is a meal for the kiddies, something my mom used to make. It's a good way to use up leftover mashed potatoes. My son was skeptical, but after trying them, decided that they were pretty good.

Appetizer sized tostadas made with wonton wrappers.

    Recipe #126239

A recipe for potstickers from the wonton wrapper package. Use tofu instead of meat to make these vegetarian.

    Recipe #126118

My mom used to make this when we were growing up. This is not her exact recipe, I wrote it down as I went. We don't follow recipes or measure frequently made foods in my family. I learned to cook by watching and doing, so I have to write down as I go on a lot of recipes. You can adjust the spices to suit your taste. I use more, because I like it hot. You can leave out the beef and use as a side dish.

    Recipe #125594

This is the meatloaf that I made yesterday. I use this to make meatballs for spaghetti too. I sometimes use 2lbs. of ground round instead of 1lb. ground round and 1lb. sausage.

    Recipe #125141

Another recipe from Kids in the Kitchen #2. It didn't list any amounts for the ingredients so I am guesstimating. You can substitute apples or pears for the bananas.

    Recipe #124127

This recipe is from Kids in the Kitchen #2 cookbook.

    Recipe #124126

This is a yummy pineapple cake roll that my mom used to make for parties and get togethers. It looks pretty too.

    Recipe #123191

This is another recipe from my Better Homes and Gardens Italian Cookbook. The raisins and almonds give this a nice flavor.

    Recipe #123188

This is an appetizer recipe that came out of a Better Homes and Gardens Italian cook book I've had since I was in high school.

I came up with this idea for grilling shrimp a few days ago. I served the kabobs on a bed of Zatarain's Jambalaya Rice along with fresh tomatoes & cucumbers in vinegar & oil.

    Recipe #122897

I threw this together last night for supper. They were yummy! My son who doesn't care for potatoes even liked them. I used Idaho potatoes, but Yukon Gold or Red New potatoes would be good too.
