    I came up with this because of a new diet I'm on. I love it, don't think I'll ever go back to regular store bought ranch dressing. All the measurements are approximate, it's kind of an "adjust it as you go" thing.

    This is pretty close to the way my mom used to make black eyed peas when I was a kid. I think she was trying to duplicate the way that my dad's mom made them for him. My family loves them, even the kids.
